Our mission is to provide a comprehensive and quality range of face-to-face and online courses, as well as resources, available digitally and easily accessible, for addressing CALD cultural competencies within the New Zealand health context... eCALD offers a range of face-to-face and online courses for both caring for culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) patients from Asian, Middle Eastern and African backgrounds, as well as for working in culturally diverse workplaces. All courses focus on enhancing learners' cultural awareness, sensitivity, knowledge and practical skills... eCALD® Services is a division of the Institute for Innovation and Improvement (i3) of Waitemata DHB. eCALD® Services have developed e-learning, remote face-to-face and face-to-face courses as well as online, print and HTML cross-cultural resources to address the lack of culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) training and information for the New Zealand health workforce.
