Adam Hayes - COO

Working at the forefront of developments in the telecommunications industry, Adam has both an in-depth knowledge and high-level experience in a range of operational, commercial, and financial roles. Adam is passionate about early-stage businesses and has worked with Eseye's founders since 2011. His current responsibilities include understanding and agreeing on the commercial and regulatory arrangements with our carrier partners along with the coordination, synchronization, and integration of operational and contractual activities.

Alexandra Prescott - COO

Brian Martin

Brian is a technology director at TELUS Ventures and is responsible for leading investments in smart cities, IoT, 5G, and security. Brian's an experienced VC investor with go-to-market expertise for early-stage companies and, as a trained engineer, he applies both a strategic and technical lens when evaluating investment opportunities. Brian's portfolio companies have exited to Splunk, Planet Labs, VMware, and IMS Health. Prior to this, Brian was a Principal at Vanedge Capital for 5 years and served as CSO at BC Hydro, where he led overall security policy development and implementation for the province's electrical system. Brian is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a member of the CVCA Committee on International Affairs, and holds an MBA from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University.

David Langton - CMO

David has over 15 years of senior B2B technology marketing experience, varying from start-ups to SMEs and multinational organisations. Before joining Eseye, David successfully built and led a high-performing global marketing function at cybersecurity software leader Boldon James (part of QinetiQ Plc), significantly growing its brand profile internationally, increasing marketing ROI, and transforming marketing into a profit centre.

Hanif Datoo

As VP of Technical Sales with TELUS Business Solutions, Hanif brings over 20 years of experience in telecommunications and software strategy, sales, marketing, and management. Since joining TELUS in 2000, Hanif managed a broad portfolio of technology products and services including all global roaming, innovative IoT solutions, and voice, data, and other wireline businesses. He was also responsible for TELUS' global and domestic carrier markets, a mandate in which he leveraged his strong network of relationships with worldwide service providers to generate new and mutually beneficial business opportunities. Hanif holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University and an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Ian Marsden - CTO, Founder

Ian is co-founder and CTO at Eseye. He is passionate about developing technology-based solutions that deliver real improvements to businesses, the environment, and quality of life. Previously he co-founded CompXs to deliver the world's first ZigBee design. Prior to CompXs, Ian held senior software leadership roles at Philips and has since spearheaded the ground-breaking innovation of our global AnyNet Secure cellular solution.

Ian Perry

Ian has over 35 years of sales, operations, general management, and board experience in the Technology industry. For the past eighteen years, he's operated as Chairman, Independent Non-Executive Director, Board Advisor, and angel investor, working alongside European and US-based Venture Capital firms to a variety of tech businesses in Europe and North America, with a number of successful exits along the way. In parallel, and for the past eight years, Ian's been a Venture Partner at Octopus Ventures, with a portfolio of over 90 early-stage businesses.

Jonathan Whittle

Jonathan Whittle is co-founder and Managing Partner at Quona, where he leads Quona's Latin America investment strategy. Jonathan is a seasoned investor and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience principally focused on Latin America. Before co-founding Quona, he was co-founder and CEO of Acesso, a leading prepaid financial service provider in Brazil. Prior to launching Acesso, Jonathan managed Darby Technology Ventures, a pioneering technology venture capital fund for Latin America. He joined Darby after a decade of experience as part of the founding team of large-scale venture capital-backed telecommunications and data services companies in Latin America, including Diveo (acquired by UOL), and Optiglobe (now Tivit).

Julian Hardy

One of the three original founders of Eseye, alongside Ian and Paul, Julian was the CEO of Eseye for 12 years. He stepped down and pursued a life-long passion for cycling spending two years competing in some of the most iconic cycling events around the world, whilst maintaining his board seat and connection to the company. Today he's the CEO and co-founder of GenPAx: a Biotech company in another area of breakthrough innovation. Providing scalable, precise, and high-resolution analysis of data from genome sequences of pathogens.

Kieran McNamara

Kieran is passionate about IoT and has been working in the connectivity industry for over 21 years. As Eseye's General Manager in North America and Sales Account Director, Kieran helps global customers unlock the power of IoT and achieve their business goals. Prior to joining Eseye, Kieran was Manager IoT Sales and Channel Development at TELUS in Canada.

Kimmberly Lau

Kimmberly is an experienced capital markets professional with over 25 years experience. Kimmberly started her career as a management consultant in Central and Eastern Europe and is currently an Executive Director and partner at Asset Value Investors, which she joined in 2003. Experienced in engaging with the Boards of both public and private companies, she recently joined the board of a charity and education company. Kimmberly has a degree in Finance and Economics from Oregon State University.

Kirsty Kay

Larry Socher

Larry spent the last 26 years at Accenture where he was most recently responsible for all Cloud & Infrastructure solutions and partnerships globally. During his tenure, Larry ran the Enterprise Network Practice, was CTO of the Service Provider Network Practice which he then proceeded to run operationally. Larry leveraged a unique blend of deep cloud, network/5G, device, IoT/Edge and operations/AIOps skills and experience to help large enterprise, government agency and communications service provider clients transform their businesses, navigating an increasingly complex ecosystem to help them take advantage of the convergence and disruption in the market. Larry graduated from Dartmouth College with BA Major in Economics and English. Larry also holds three patents.

Nick Earle - CEO, Chairman

He's a visionary business leader with a distinguished career in technology spanning more than 30 years, spanning large corporations and dynamic start-ups and oscillating between start-ups and global IT, tech and transportation companies. Previously, Nick led organisations and cross-company transformation programs for two $50B global corporations; Cisco where he ran the Cloud and Managed Services business as well as their Worldwide Field Services function, and Hewlett Packard where he ran the global Enterprise Marketing function and the internet transformation strategy. Eseye's CEO, Nick Earle, has been named the 'CxO of the Year' at the IoT Global Awards 2023. Eseye's CEO, Nick Earle, was recognised for the 'IoT Mover & Shaker' award at Juniper Research's 2022 Future Digital Smart Cities & IoT Innovation Awards.

Patrick Mitchell - Managing Director

With a background in senior design engineering, Paul's focus is on ensuring his development, operations and support teams deliver solutions that work faultlessly in the field. Paul was co-founder of CompXs, with Ian Marsden, and developed the world's first IEEE 802.15.4 radio. Before CompXs, Paul was in senior radio design at Philips.

Rob Lloyd

Rob Lloyd has spent his entire career in technology and is based in Silicon Valley. Lloyd spent 21 years at Cisco Systems serving in various executive roles while living in Canada and Europe and was most recently President, Engineering and Sales leading a global team of 40,000 responsible for product development, global sales, channels, and IoT generating $40 billion in annual revenues, based in San Jose, CA. He serves on the Board of Trustees at Santa Clara University and on the boards of several non-profit organizations focused on education and opportunity for youth.

Stephen Stewart
