Our commitment to free expression is reflected in both the university's Faculty Code and the Code of Student Conduct... Our university remains committed to ensuring that all interactions follow the university's policies regarding violence, discrimination, and harassment. We have an obligation to foster dialogue in a way that models productive disagreement, which means engaging in debate in a manner that demonstrates respect for those of differing opinions. We must encourage this and remain dedicated to conducting ourselves based on the shared values of our community.
