GUATEMALA'S COFFEE

The Molina Family has been producing and exporting coffee for over a century on several farms located around the Capital city of Guatemala. Our farms are located in the Fraijanes Plateau region, adjacent to the city, which has long been known or its volcanic soil (thanks to the active Volcano Pacaya), abundance of rain, variable humidity, high altitudes and plenty of sun in the dry season which allows for sun dried beans. Our proximity to the city has allowed our headquarters to be a center for educational activities, tours and a wide variety of other ventures in conjunction with ANACAFE (our National Coffee Association). Amongst the many efforts we have made is our active involvement in growing our local community, offering training and quality jobs to our local residents, as well as investing in infrastructure, potable water and eco-friendly practices that protect our rich environment...
