Abdellatif Imani

Abdellatif Imani is a Founding Partner of Ascent Capital Partners (IMAP Morocco). He has over 18 years of private equity and corporate finance experience, operating out of Paris and Morocco. Prior to his current position, Abdellatif spent a large part of his career with Groupe Société Générale in Paris, as a Partner in private equity, responsible for SGAM private equity activities in Africa and the Middle East. He also served on the boards of several private equity funds and companies across North Africa, including in the fields of Energy, Agribusiness and Packaging.

Dr. Carsten Lehmann

Dr. Carsten Lehmann is a Member of the Executive Board of IMAP in Germany. As well as various positions at large German banks, Carsten also spent more than 13 years of his career at Bankhaus Lampe KG, a leading independent private bank owned by the Dr. Oetker Group. There he helped develop and manage the M&A advisory team, before being promoted to the Executive Board of the bank, where he was responsible for the integrated corporate banking and wealth management business of the bank for mid-sized companies and their owners. He also helped to initiate and build a private equity fund which structures direct investments for entrepreneurial private investors. Carsten has over 20 years of experience in strategic and corporate finance advisory and has successfully structured and executed a large number of company divestments, acquisitions, minority transactions, debt and equity financing transactions, as well as IPO's. He has distinct expertise in a number of industries, with a strong focus on consumer goods and retail, logistics, software and manufacturing. Carsten studied Economics in Tuebingen and Muenster, where he was awarded a PhD.

Håkan Lahti

Håkan joined IMAP in 2022 and contributes with more than 15 years of experience in the M&A business. In the past, Håkan has also held management positions in the insurance, banking and finance sectors and has been CEO of both manufacturing and service-producing companies. Håkan has a Masters Degree in Economics from Lund University.

Jakob Graveleij

Jakob has been working as an analyst at IMAP since 2022. Prior to his employment at IMAP, Jakob worked as an IT/ERP-consultant in the flat glass industry. Jakob was responsible for implementation and training in production solutions. Experience in leading also participating in national and international projects. Jakob has a Bachelor Degree in Innovation Engineering from the University of Halmstad.

Jeffrey Smith

Jeffrey Smith is a Managing Director of Pinnacle Inc. (IMAP Japan). He has over 20 years experience advising on Japan-related cross-border M&A. Jeff covers transactions between Japanese corporates and firms in a wide range of geographies including Asia, Americas, Europe and various emerging markets. His previous sector experience includes Telecom, Technology, Consumer, Industrials, Real Estate and Private Equity. Based in Tokyo, Jeff previously served as Vice President in the Equities Division of Goldman Sachs and Director in the Financial Sponsors Group of UBS Investment Bank. Before that, he worked for Credit Suisse First Boston Securities in the M&A Group in both New York and Tokyo. Jeff has a BA Cum Laude in Economics & Mathematics from Yale University.

Jurgis Oniunas - Chairman

Jurgis is the Managing Partner of IMAP Southeast Europe. In 2014, he was also elected Chairman of IMAP, Inc. and has been successfully leading the partnership ever since. Jurgis is also the Chairman of the Investment Committee at Invera Private Equity Partners. He started his career at Ebasco Services Incorporated, one of the largest US engineering firms specializing in power generation and infrastructure projects, where he spent 15 years, reaching the position of Vice President of Business Development for Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Jurgis then focused on entrepreneurship and gained another 15 years of experience identifying and developing emerging business opportunities throughout Central and Eastern Europe, before founding Ascendant Capital Advisors (today IMAP SEE) in 2003. Jurgis holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration in Finance and International Business from the New York University, Stern School of Business, a Master's Degree in Nuclear Engineering from the Columbia University, Fu School of Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College.

Olivia M. Ferris

Olivia joined Capstone Partners in 2012 and currently serves as Director of Strategy & Operations on the firm's executive team. In this role, Olivia is responsible for overall firm strategy, corporate development, partnerships, strategic initiatives and investments. She is central to communicating, executing, and sustaining Capstone's priorities and translating them into a comprehensive strategic plan. Prior to her position as Director of Strategy & Operations, she served as Executive Director and Vice President of Investment Banking Operations of Capstone Partners overseeing all banking activities for the firm. She continues to perform these duties in her new role, which includes being responsible for resource allocation, workflow management, and technology investments. In addition, she serves on the Board of Directors of IMAP, an international consortium of middle market investment banks. Prior to the acquisition by Capstone, Olivia was a Vice President at Headwaters MB, now known as Capstone Partners where she was responsible for all aspects of deal execution ranging from due diligence and materials preparation through organizing bids and management presentations to facilitating buyer discussions. Olivia holds a BSBA in Finance from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Pelino Colaiacovo - Treasurer

Pelino is a Managing Director at MPA. He is focused on assisting clients in the energy, utilities, infrastructure and public sectors, to meet strategic and financial challenges, such as mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, restructuring and project partnerships. In addition, he has provided expert advice to governments and agencies and has appeared as an expert witness before regulatory tribunals. Prior to joining the firm, Pelino served in government as the Chief of Staff to the Ontario Minister of Energy and previously spent more than 10 years in management, policy and communications consulting in Canada and the United States. There he advised clients across a wide range of sectors, including energy, transportation, telecommunications and healthcare. Pelino has a BA and LLB, both from the University of Toronto.

Riccardo Martinelli

Riccardo has been involved in many corporate finance transactions, in sectors including Mechanical Industry, Mass Market, Clothing Industry, Fashion and Automotive. He is an expert in complex financial restructuring transactions, including pre-bankruptcy procedures. Prior to joining Vitale&Co (IMAP Italy), Riccardo was Promoter for PolizzaLab, the main insurance online broker in Italy (2000-2001). Prior to that, in 2000 he was a Director of the corporate finance division of ING. From 1996-1999, he was the Director of the corporate finance division at PwC. Ricardo has also worked with Akros Finanziaria. His practice areas are M&A, restructuring, private equity and valuations and he has extensive experience in the Manufacturing, Mechanical, Automotive and Consumer Goods sectors. Riccardo has an MBA from INSEAD and a Degree in Economics for the University of Florence (Università degli Studi di Firenze).

Sergio Milic

Sergio is the Director of South Andes Capital (IMAP Chile). He joined the firm in 1994, specializing in the area of corporate finance and participating in the group that advised Codelco on the sale of a controlling stake in Tocopilla, the largest power station in Chile. From 1996-1997 he worked at the European Merchant Bank, Kleinwort Benson, in London on the Project and Export Finance and Equity Capital Markets teams.Sergio has extensive experience and a strong record of successful transactions in Energy and Power. He has also participated in numerous advisory mandates and transactions, mainly in Mining, Banking, Ports, Electricity and Water sectors, both in Chile and abroad. Sergio graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile as a Civil Engineer, specializing in Economics and Electricity and holds an MBA from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile's School of Business.
