Dr. Goins is a native of Knoxville. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Tennessee. He earned his medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine with the University of Tennessee.
Dr. Goins is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians. He joined Internal Medicine West in 2015.
In his spare time, he enjoys time with his wife and daughter. He enjoys being active - mountain biking, hiking, and other outdoor sports.
He has interest in the treatment of diabetes and enjoys the unique opportunities and challenges in the care of the geriatric population.
Dr. Rasmi Ajit brings more than 10 years of medical experience to Internal Medicine West. She is board certified in Internal Medicine with clinical interests in chronic disease management, diabetes treatment, preventive care and wellness, and women's health.

Dr. Ajit completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Alabama Birmingham's Montgomery campus after earning her medical degree at Amala Institute of Medical Sciences in India.
Dr. Stephanie Becker has more than 25 years of medical experience and is board certified in internal medicine. She earned her medical degree in 1996 from the University of Tennessee Memphis School of Medicine in Memphis, TN and continued her training at the University of Tennessee - Chattanooga by completing an internal medicine internship and residency from 1996-1999.
Jeff Boruff, MD is a native of Knoxville, Tennessee. He graduated with highest honors from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville and in the top 10% of his medical school class at the University of Tennessee, Memphis. His internship and residency consisted of three rigorous years in internal medicine at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. His special interests include disease intervention, heart disease, and Type II Diabetes Mellitus.
Marianne Solomon, MD is from Chattanooga, Tennessee. She graduated from Vanderbilt University and earned her medical degree at the University of Tennessee, Memphis. Her postgraduate training consisted of three intensive years at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Dr. Solomon is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Her husband Dennis is a pediatrician with Knoxville Pediatric Group.
