Andrew Elliott

Andrew Elliott was elected to the ISPT Board by Group Members effective 19 June 2020 and was elected Chair by the full ISPT board effective 14 March 2024. Andrew has more than 25 years' experience in executive and board roles for unlisted investments with major infrastructure and financial services businesses locally and internationally, including airports, ports, energy utilities, property trusts and private equity. His executive experience includes 4 years as the Chief Investment Officer at CP2, a specialist infrastructure investment manager, 12 years with Victorian Funds Management Corporation most recently as Deputy Chief Investment Officer, and prior to that as a director of Infrastructure Funds Management at RREEF Infrastructure, part of Deutsche Asset Management (Australia). Andrew started his career as a commercial lawyer in Australia and the UK. Andrew is a member of the Investment Management Committee of the University of Melbourne's Trinity College, a member of the Cancer Council Victoria's Investment Committee and Finance Risk and Audit Committee, and a member of the QIC Valuation Oversight Committee. Previously he held non-executive director positions at EPIC Energy, Yallourn Energy, Australia Pacific Airports Corporation and Port of Geelong.

Brian Daley

Brian Daley was appointed to the ISPT Board on 1 July 2007. Brian has more than 30 years' experience in industry superannuation and was involved in the establishment and governance of several industry funds including the Australian Retirement Fund, HESTA and Hostplus. From 1 July 2007 until 9 September 2022 Brian was on the board of AustralianSuper, and from 1 July 2014 until 19 September 2022 he was a member of the Council of Industry Super Australia, Brian is a past director of Hostplus, HESTA, AGEST and ARIA.

Carl Astorri

Carl Astorri was appointed to the ISPT Board on 1 July 2018. Carl has more than 25 years' experience as a multi-asset investor, strategist and economist. Currently he is the Head of Asset Allocation & Research at AustralianSuper, leading a team responsible for the active asset allocation of AustralianSuper investments, equity strategy, and macroeconomic research. Prior to joining AustralianSuper in 2015, Carl was Global Head of Economics and Asset Strategy at Coutts & Co and Head of Investment Strategy at Barclays Wealth. He also worked as an economist at Friends Provident Asset Management and the Bank of England.

Con Michalakis

Con has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services sector including in senior management roles, and more than 15 years of experience with industry superannuation. Con was the Chief Investment Officer for Statewide Superannuation, Director of Marketing and Client Services for Pzena Investment Management in New York, Head of Institutional Business for Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and Vice President, Institutional Marketing for Alliance Capital Management in Sydney and London. Con was also the first investment practice leader for Watson Wyatt in Australia. Currently, Con is the Deputy Chief Investment Officer at Hostplus, one of Australia's largest industry superannuation funds, with total assets under management in excess of AUD $100B. Con leads portfolio construction in public and private markets.

Helen Thornton

Helen Thornton was appointed by the ISPT Board as an independent director on 1 December 2017. Helen has more than 30 years' experience across a range of industries, including financial services. A chartered accountant, Helen has extensive experience in governance, audit and risk management and has held senior leadership roles at Deloitte, KPMG, BHP and BlueScope Steel, where she was responsible for the company's global risk management function. Currently Helen is a non-executive director and Deputy Chair of the Treasury Corporation of Victoria, is a non-executive director of Ansvar Insurance, McPhersons, and Yarra Valley Water, and is on the Legal Practitioners' Liability Committee. Previously Helen was the Deputy Chair of Zoos Victoria and a non-executive director of Austin Health, Big Sky Building Society and Rural Finance.

Jane Lloyd

Jane Lloyd was appointed by the ISPT Board as an independent director on 17 September 2018. Jane has more than 30 years' experience in the Australian and international property markets across the commercial, retail, industrial and residential sectors. Her executive career includes two years as Stockland's General Manager of Development and Design, Commercial Property and 11 years at DEXUS, culminating as Managing Director of US Investments. Jane started her career in the development business of Lendlease. Jane is a consultant to various firms through her consultancy business, Third Shift Enterprises. Currently Jane is a non-executive director of Cromwell Funds Management, Habilis Housing and SHAPE Australia, is a member of the Australian Prime Property Fund Retail Investment Review Committee, and is a Global Trustee of the Urban Land Institute.

Jason O'Mara

Jason O'Mara was appointed to the ISPT Board by Cbus effective 1 January 2024. Jason has held secretary, assistant secretary and organiser roles in the Construction Forestry Mining and Energy Union from 2007 to 2021. He has also held directorships in registered organisations and charities which focus on delivering high quality services and support to construction industry workers and their families. From 2018-2021 Jason was on the ACT Work Health and Safety Council. Currently, Jason is General Manager of the commercial operations for the Canberra Tradesman's Union Club, which invests in and develops commercial and residential property. Jason is also a director of Cbus and a member of the Cbus Audit and Finance Committee and the Cbus Investment Committee.

Lianne Buck

Lianne Buck was elected to the ISPT Board by Group Members effective 19 June 2020. Lianne has more than 20 years' experience in the Australian and international property and infrastructure investment markets, specialising in investment management, corporate finance, government and stakeholder management. Lianne started her career with KPMG. Her executive career includes seven years as NSW Treasury Corporation's Head of Direct Investments and Infrastructure. Also she was Investment Director of Hastings Funds Management and Chief Operating Officer, Unlisted Infrastructure Funds at Macquarie Group. Currently Lianne is a non-executive director of Argo Investments and AusNet Services. Also, she is a member of the Investment Committee for the bursary fund of Saint Ignatius College Riverview and an Investment Committee Member of Stepstone Infrastructure and Real Assets. Previously Lianne held non-executive director positions at Australia Pacific Airports Corporation and Spark Infrastructure RE Limited, and was a Specialist Advisor to the NSW Treasury Management Investment Committee.

Robert Fowler

Robert Fowler has been appointed to the ISPT Board by HESTA effective 1 July 2023. Rob has over 35 years' experience in financial markets, including in executive management roles with HESTA both as CIO for 13 years and then leading their investment operations and investment technology. Also, Rob is an experienced director with over a decade of experience in strategy and governance at small, financial market focussed companies, and as a member of investment and not-for-profit management advisory committees. Rob is currently on the Investment Committee of TelstraSuper as an independent committee member, and is a Director of Vencap 12 Limited, a Jersey-based venture capital fund of funds.
