She has been with BH for over 10 years and is focused on creating, promoting, and delivering training solutions designed to support our management strategy. Allison is passionate about creating an interactive, enjoyable, and cohesive business environment that supports learning. She leads our Regional Trainers and Regional Mentors, cultivating a support system for regional and onsite team members. Allison holds a BA in English Literature and History.

Amy Chien

Amy Chien, Director of Strategic Innovations, oversees BH's Strategic Innovations Department, focusing on future-forward software, programs, and policies that bring efficiency and value to onsite teams, residents, and clients. Amy began her career in the multifamily industry in 2008, working in both onsite and corporate roles including Assistant Manager, Community Manager, and Multi-Site Senior Manager. She joined BH in 2014 on the Corporate Team and has been instrumental in the discovery, pilot, and roll-out of several portfolio level software rollouts. Prior to joining the multifamily industry, Amy served as SME and Lead Trainer for SMS, Data, and Virtual Messaging for a leading cellular company at the brink of inception, prior to national popularization.

Amy Davis

Amy joined BH in June of 2015 and has 20 years of property management experience serving in several onsite and corporate roles such as Property Manager, Helpdesk Support and Application Support Services Manager. Amy has worked for several large property management companies and has accessed more than 30 different Yardi environments throughout her career. Her vast knowledge base brings a unique and technical perspective to the Support Operations department. As the Director of Application Support, Amy manages the BH Application Support helpdesk, manages- the Yardi database, oversees all integrations of Yardi's ancillary products and leads the Yardi support team members.

Angela Avila

Angela Avila is the Director of Human Resources for BH, overseeing all aspects of the department including benefits, payroll, compliance, process improvement, and employee relations. As a part of BH's 401K committee, Angela conducts annual reviews of the Company's benefit offerings. She joined BH in 2017, bringing with her more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources. Angela holds a degree in accounting with a certification in Payroll.

Bobbi Steward - CMO

Bobbi has spent over a decade helping businesses grow revenue through smarter marketing, with more than half of that time laser-focused on the real estate industry. As VP of Marketing, Bobbi will oversee the corporate marketing and customer experience teams, managing brand strategy, corporate communications, and property marketing efforts. Prior to joining BH, Bobbi headed both consumer and B2B performance marketing for Realtor.com®, and held progressive roles at real estate technology company G5, including Director of Product Management and Vice President of Digital Strategy, executing renter acquisition strategies for thousands of multifamily properties across North America. Bobbi brings with her a deep understanding of modern marketing and measurement techniques, and she has earned more than a dozen professional certifications from organizations such as the Pragmatic Institute, OMCP®, Market Motive, Google, and Microsoft.

Brandy Daniel

Brandy joined BH as a certified Revenue Manager in 2014 when BH internalized the pricing advisory function. Brandy now oversees the Business Intelligence Systems Department that encompasses pricing advisory and strategy, performance analytics, operational reporting and interior renovation process transparency. Brandy holds a degree in Business Management and has spent more than 20 years in various positions on-site, actively managing in five major markets. She works closely with both the revenue management and performance analytics software developers as an active collaborator with input into future platform enhancements.

Charlotte Flores

Charlotte joined BH in 2014 as HR Manager, and currently serves as Vice President of Human Resources. Christi Weinstein

Christi joined BH as the Director of Training in 2014, bringing with her more than 16 years of experience dedicated to training and operations. In her current role as Vice President of Support Operations, she oversees the organization's training and application support divisions, as well as key operations functions such as policy and procedure development, contracts and purchasing, collections and more. She also supports critical business strategies throughout the organization by directing the development and implementation of key corporate and onsite processes. She holds a BA in Marketing and a MA in Conflict Resolution.

Dori Brewer

Dori Brewer is responsible for overseeing BH's Colorado portfolio, managing strategy, goals and objectives for the region. Brewer oversees the budgets, hiring, training, performance reviews and service standards throughout her region. Brewer brings more than 33 years of experience in multifamily real estate to her position, including an extensive background in multifamily lease-ups. Prior to joining the team, she worked with McWhinney Real Estate Services as Vice President of Operations. Throughout her career she has held various site level, regional and corporate positions including; president and managing partner of Tucson Realty & Trust Co. She holds the following Professional Designations: Certified Property Manager, Certified Apartment Portfolio, Supervisor, Certified Apartment Manager, National Apartment Association Educational Institute - Faculty Member.

Dusty Thomas

Dusty Thomas is responsible for the development and management of BH's investment vehicles including reporting, modeling, and other activities related to BH's investors and fundraising. Dustin's expertise in financial analysis, investment structuring and strategic negotiations has been integral to the company's ongoing efforts to expand its investment platform. During his tenure at BH, Dustin has structured more than $100 million in GP capital and has assisted with 36 GP capital investments. In 2017, he launched a new platform to manage accounting, distributions, and financial reporting for all of BH's various investment entities. Prior to BH, Dustin co-founded and was a Managing Partner of Midwest Growth Partners, a private equity fund that invests in growth-oriented companies located in the upper Midwest. He received his B.A. from Simpson College and his MBA from the University of Iowa. Dustin holds CFA and CAIA designations and is a member of the CFA Society of Iowa.

Harry Bookey - Chairman, Founder

Harry Bookey, the Founder and Chairman of BH Equities and BH Management Services, oversees the corporate strategic planning and analysis of property positioning for both companies. Since the founding of BH in 1993, Harry has been engaged full-time in all aspects of property acquisitions, asset management and property management. He has supervised BH's growth from a small startup company to becoming the eighth largest multifamily management company and the 11th largest multifamily owner in the nation. Prior to forming BH, Harry served as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel of a national real estate development and syndication firm based in Des Moines. He has also practiced law, specializing in real estate and syndication work in two leading law firms in Des Moines. Harry earned undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Jacob Kosior

Jacob Kosior serves as the Director of Customer Experience for BH Companies. He oversees prospect and resident-facing initiatives aimed at fulfilling our customer service philosophy and implements best-in-class tools to meet the needs of our prospective, current, and future residents. Jacob also oversees the leasing and marketing efforts for the B.HOM Student Living portfolio of purpose-built student housing assets, including digital marketing, onsite marketing efforts, leasing initiatives, and vendor management. He has 10 years of experience in the multifamily housing industry, including operations and new development lease-ups of affordable, conventional, and student housing assets. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University and a Master's in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

As Director of Asset Management for BH Equities, Jennifer Davis leads a team dedicated to supporting BH Construction representatives, operations, and property owners to maximize returns and execute the underwritten business plan. The department's responsibilities include regular monitoring of operating performance and renovation status, proactive evaluation of capital transaction opportunities and post-acquisition modeling or reforecasting, as needed. Prior to joining BH, Jennifer was the Senior Vice President of Underwriting and Asset Management for Harbour Realty Partners and its predecessor, Captec Financial Group. While there, she was responsible for transaction underwriting and underwrote more than $885 million in multifamily acquisition/development transactions. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a bachelor's degree focused on Accounting and Economics.

Jennifer Schumann

Jennifer joined BH in December 2018 as Senior Counsel, Real Estate. In her role, Jennifer oversees the due diligence function, which provides extensive service in connection with real estate acquisitions, dispositions, refinances and restructures. She leads an experienced team of professionals who evaluate investment and management opportunities with the goal of maximizing asset value for our partners and providing multi-family projects to our communities. Before joining BH, Jennifer worked on real estate transaction at several firms where she specialized in real estate development, finance, construction and commercial leasing matters. She received her undergraduate degree from University of Louisville, and her Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University College of Law.

Jessica Dakin

During her career, she has been involved with renovations, REIT, third - party management, tax credit, and student and active adult assets. After nearly a decade working at Greystar and a combined 15 years in the multifamily industry, Jessica truly knows what drives revenue and understands seasonal shifts.

Joanna Zabriskie - CEO, President

As President and CEO of the BH Companies, Joanna Zabriskie has led BH to become one of the largest multifamily management and investment companies in the nation. She joined BH in 2013 as Senior Vice President, focusing on new initiatives and special projects to improve the overall operating efficiency of the organization. In December 2014, she was promoted to President and since then, BH and its joint venture partners have invested nearly $1.5 billion of equity capital in multifamily assets and grown from 45,000 units to more than 95,000 units with over $1 billion in systemwide sales. During Ms. Zabriskie's tenure, BH has been designated Top 100 Great Places to Work for Diversity, Women and Millennials numerous times, and Zabriskie was recently named a recipient of the Great Place to Work For All Leadership Award. In addition, employee-forward policies such as Babies at Work, the Sabbatical Program and a Diversity and Inclusion Committee and initiatives were introduced under her leadership. Prior to BH, her previous company co-invested with BH for many years as a sponsor/partner on multifamily acquisitions. Her roles included serving as the Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of Harbour Realty Partners, a company she co-founded to invest in multifamily properties and serving as Managing Director for Captec Financial Group. Joanna earned an undergraduate degree from Carleton College and a Masters in International Management and MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird). She has more than 25 years of experience in real estate, banking and finance.
