Adam W Nevitt

Dr. Nevitt graduated AOA from Rush Medical College in Chicago before completing his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. He served as Chief Resident and authored several medical papers and articles. He completed his fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at UCSF. Before joining the North Bay Division, Dr. Nevitt practiced at Seton Medical Centerwhere he served as the Director of Interventional Radiology and subsequently Chief of Radiology. Dr. Nevitt has performed over 20,000 interventional procedures over 14 years of practice. Locally a pioneer in minimally invasive treatment of Uterine Fibroids, he performed the first Uterine Fibroid Embolization on the San Mateo Peninsula. At Marin General Hospital, Dr Nevitt formed a team that performed the first Y 90 radioembolization procedure for treatment of malignant liver tumors; The program has grown and is one of the most active private practices in Northern California. Dr. Nevitt enjoys all aspects of Interventional including the treatment of peripheral vascular disease, dialysis access maintenance, vascular access and stroke treatment.

Amy H. Huang

Dr. Huang received her MD degree from John Hopkins School of Medicine She completed radiology residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital and neuroradiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, both affiliates of Harvard Medical School. Dr. Huang holds a certificate of added qualification in neuroradiology. She has written multiple articles and received several teaching awards. Dr. Huang has a particular interest in advanced stroke imaging.

Arthur E. Li

Arthur Li, M.D., completed his medical degree from the University of California at San Francisco in 1999, following undergraduate work at Harvard University. Dr. Li completed an internship in internal medicine and a residency in diagnostic radiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, where he also served as Chief Resident. He also completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging at the National Orthopedic Imaging Associates in San Francisco in 2005. He is a co-author of the textbook "Magnetic Resonance Imaging In Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics, 3rd edition". He is also a contributor to the textbook "Stoller's Atlas of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine".

Avanti Ambekar

Dr. Ambekar received her medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. She completed her transitional internship at Saint Vincent's Hospital in New York. She then moved to San Francisco to pursue her diagnostic radiology residency training at the University of California, San Francisco, where she served as Chief Resident. She continued at UCSF to complete fellowships in Neuroradiology and Musculoskeletal Imaging and is board-certified in diagnostic radiology and neuroradiology. Her clinical areas of interest include stroke, head and neck imaging, sports medicine, and cutting edge MR applications.

Brian K. Bronzo

Dr. Brian Bronzo received his undergraduate degree from the Johns Hopkins University. He obtained his medical degree from Harvard Medical School followed by residency in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the Massachusetts General Hospital.

Christopher J. Yoo

Dr. Christopher Yoo joined CAIMA in 2004. He has an interest in MR applications in the abdomen, pelvis, and breast as well as utilizing technology for optimizing efficiency and image analysis. After completing his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering at the University of Miami, Dr. Yoo obtained his medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School. Next, he completed his training in radiology at the University of Pennsylvania for residency and fellowship. He studied body imaging during his fellowship which concentrated on imaging the abdomen and pelvis with CT, ultrasound and MRI.

Christopher R. Kagay

Dr. Kagay is Chairman of the Department of Radiology at California Pacific Medical Center and President of the San Francisco Division of CAIMA. He also serves as the Director of Abdominal Imaging at CPMC. Dr. Kagay received his undergraduate education at Harvard University and his M.D. degree from the University of California, San Francisco. He completed his residency in radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, the largest teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, where he served as Chief Resident in Radiology in 2007-8. After residency, Dr. Kagay completed a fellowship in Abdominal Imaging and Intervention, also at Mass General.

Damon C. Sacco

Dr. Sacco received his MD degree from Loyola-Stritch School of Medicine and did his residency and musculoskeletal training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where he went on to hold the position of Assistant Professor. He joined NOIA in 1989 and is medical director of a number of imaging centers. He also serves as NOIA's director of musculoskeletal interventional radiology.

David S Marcus

Dr. Marcus received his medical degree from the University of California at San Diego. After finishing an internship at Mercy Hospital in San Diego, he completed his radiology residency training at the University of Arizona. He then served as a clinical instructor and fellow at the University of California at San Francisco where he focused his attention on magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound and computed tomography. In addition to cross-sectional body imaging, Dr. Marcus has special interest and experience in performing interventional radiologic procedures. He has practiced radiology in the San Mateo area since 1993. Dr. Marcus has been active on the CAIMA Board of Directors and has chaired both the Finance and Retirement Plan Committees for many years. He also served a 3 year term as Chief of the Medical Staff for San Mateo County.

Robert Hoye - CEO

Robert Hoye, Chief Executive Officer: Mr. Hoye has over 25 years of healthcare financial management experience. As Immix Management Service's CFO for fifteen years, Mr. Hoye has provided financial management services for radiology groups, imaging centers, commercial real estate ventures, and investment holding companies. The scope of financial services include those to facilitate mergers, joint ventures, new business ventures, valuations, payer contracting, professional practice compensation methodologies, and financial modeling. Prior to joining Immix, Mr. Hoye served as CFO at Novato Community Hospital and was a senior financial analyst with Sutter Health. Prior to joining the health care industry, Mr. Hoye's served in the investment and securities industry as a stockbroker, investment adviser and manager with several nationwide brokerage firms.

Thomas Szozda

Thomas Szozda, Director of Information Technology, has over 25 years of technical and technical management experience. As a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Applied Electronics Technology diplomate, Mr. Szozda began his carrier as a computer technician and rose to the position of West Coast Field Support Manager with responsibility for 100+ technicians before joining the IMMIX team in 2000. As Director of Information Technology, he manages the Teleradiology and Technical Support team that provides technology and informatics support for over 250 users, a network with over 80 site connections, and an extensive list of technology assets that enable security, automation, and communication for the enterprise. Mr. Szozda is also an application developer who created the IRIS Radiology Information System, which drives the CAIMA radiologist's workflow.
