MATERNAL MEDICINE

The Y&H Maternal Medicine Network (MMN) is made up of 2 Maternal Medicine Centres based in Leeds and Sheffield together with 11 other NHS Trusts... The Maternal Medicine team aim to work closely with other healthcare professionals such as Cardiologists, Neurologists, Haematologists, Gastroenterologists and Anaesthetists and Mental Health Services to provide you with the best possible support for your condition... Once it has been established that you will need additional support from the Maternal Medicine Network during your pregnancy, you will be advised about the different appointments you will need to attend. These will include standard checks and scans on you and your baby at your local hospital, but may also include additional checks at that hospital or at one of the Maternal Medicine Centres.
