Andrew Dixon

Andrew's primary responsibility is the Assurance, Advisory and Consulting departments. His experience includes funds, banks, pensions, regulated CSPs and TSPs, local and international manufacturing, shipping, agricultural, distribution and Stock Exchange listed clients. Handling a growing portfolio of over 150 engagements annually, Andrew and his specialised teams provide services to a range of entities from small local businesses to large international groups and government departments, while liaising with Moore firms around the world as appropriate. After training at a Big Four firm and qualifying, he joined Moore Dixon as Senior Auditor. Since joining Andrew has identified and developed new service lines including superyacht audits, company valuations and liquidations and is personally responsible for a significant number of new clients coming to Moore Dixon locally and internationally. He mentors qualified staff and is counsellor to the firm's Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales trainees, helping staff advance their career development. Andrew is also integral to the firm's Microsoft Dynamics CRM customer relationship management implementation project and its ISO 9001 accreditation. Andrew was educated on the Island at King William's College and graduated from Lancaster University, one of the UK's top business schools with a first class honours degree in Accounting and Finance.

Clive Dixon

Clive has overall responsibility for the firm's strategic direction, client servicing and client relationships. He has an honours degree in finance and accounting, qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1981 after training with EY in Birmingham and became a Fellow of the Institute in 1992. After qualifying, he spent seven years in Bermuda initially with EY before joining Aon to take up the position of President and CEO of its Bermuda subsidiary. Clive moved to the Isle of Man in 1989 to establish Moore Dixon, now one of the largest firms of Chartered Accountants in the Island. The firm has both "Investor in People" accreditation and ISO 9001 certification. It is also a full training office with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, and a Platinum-accredited training office with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. In 2010 Moore Dixon was recognised by the Chief Minister of the Island as an Isle of Man Champion business. Clive is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, The Chartered Institute of Marketing, the Chartered Management Institute and the Institute of Directors. He was listed on Citywealth's 2019 Leaders List and was Citywealth IFC Awards 2020 Winner Outstanding Individual of the Year.

Melanie Langley

Melanie joined Moore Dixon in October 2010 with a professional background in sales and sales management. She now leads the team of sales professionals in Moore Dixon Crew Benefits signposting products that specifically help superyacht crew with financial solutions; from bank accounts to medical insurance to tax advice, anywhere in the world. She also assists Moore Dixon Brokers Limited sourcing insurance products tailored for superyachts and luxury asset insurance solutions. Melanie is based in the UK after being a long term resident in Mallorca and speaks fluent Spanish and Catalan.

Ryan Dernie

Ryan joined Moore Dixon in 2021 He is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of the firms' statutory and non-statutory external audits, covering a range of the islands key industries; taking utmost care and precision in servicing clients. Ryan is also responsible for scoping and managing the firm's internal audit service offering, which has a particular focus on the local captive insurance sector. He brings with him a wealth of experience covering the best part of two decades. In his previous role, Ryan was a senior manager with one of the Big 4 firms, with his role seeing a particular focus on managing the audit of large financial institutions and real estate groups. A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Accountants, Ryan holds a BA (Hons) Degree in Finance, Accounting and Economics.

Scott Trimble - Chief Compliance Officer

Scott is the Moore Dixon group risk and compliance director and has more than 25 years' experience working with local and international firms. He has overall responsibility for the Moore Dixon governance, risk and compliance functions, ensuring that regulatory requirements and customer service standards are consistently met across the firm's financial services, consulting and insurance businesses. Scott also provides regulatory compliance advice, guidance and support to help clients best meet the requirements of their respective regulators or professional bodies. Scott is a former Isle of Man Financial Services Authority regulator, and a Fellow of the International Compliance Association, and holds a professional postgraduate diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance alongside graduate diplomas in both International Compliance and International Anti-money Laundering. He also holds a BSc. (Hons) in Management from Alliance Manchester Business School.

Shashank Chanda

Simon Dixon

As an Insurance Risk Specialist with Moore Dixon Brokers Limited (MDBL) Simon works with our clients to place reliable, comprehensive and competitively-priced insurance solutions with brokers at Lloyd's of London and other reputable insurance companies in the UK and overseas. Simon has overall responsibility for product development, building existing provider relationships and sourcing insurance products designed for superyachts, private aircraft and other luxury assets. He joined Moore Dixon in 2009.

Steven Lannigan

Steven is director of Moore Dixon Financial Services Limited and by profession a Financial Planner. With a background of over twenty years in the financial industry, the past eleven of which he spent in financial planning, Steven provides a full spectrum of financial planning to corporate and retail clients, both domestic and internationally based. Steven joined the firm in June 2015 after roles in investment analysis, compliance, and financial trading. He was previously in the Royal Air Force. He has a Diploma and Certificate in Financial Planning, a Certificate in Pension Transfer Advice, holds the AF3 Advanced Pension Planning and AF4 Advanced Investment Planning qualifications and holds a Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Lending issued by the Chartered Insurance Institute (or CII as it's more commonly known). Steven is a member of the Personal Finance Society, the Chartered Insurance Institute, the Society of Mortgage Professionals, the Isle of Man Business Network and the Chartered Financial Analysts Society.

Tony Seymour - CFO

Tony is the finance director for the firm and is also a director of Moore Dixon Brokers Limited, Moore Dixon Consulting Limited, Moore Dixon Crew Benefits Limited, Moore Dixon Financial Services Limited and Moore Stephens Trust Company Limited. He is a qualified chartered management accountant and an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. Tony moved to the Isle of Man in 1995 to manage Moore Stephens' computer information systems having previously worked in the UK as a support consultant with a large computer systems house specialising in accounting and manufacturing software. He is responsible for overall internal financial control and practice administration and is a trustee of the Moore Dixon staff pension scheme.
