MY TIME

Scribbled on a blank sheet of paper late one evening, the My Time to Shine Vocal Competition was birthed as a simple idea by "K-Latt" Lattimore in the Fall of 2008. The first My Time to Shine Vocal Competition was held on Saturday February 28th, 2009. It was held at the then brand new auditorium of Mallard Creek High School in Charlotte, NC. From day one, the objective has remained the same; Identify talent, coach and train the chosen, display and make manifest the gifts for all to witness. This red carpeted event has always been marked by the stretched limousine that brings in every competing vocalist as well as the highly coveted MTTS trophy. The showcase has since been held in various other cities including Fort Mill-SC, Salisbury-NC, and Greensboro-NC. On April 24th, 2019 the initial meeting to join forces with J-Stylz was held at PowerOut Studios and the rest is history!
