NATSIHA advocates for and represents intersections within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities by recognising and addressing the diverse needs and experiences within these communities. As a federated model, NATSIHA collaborates closely with state and territory peak bodies to amplify the voices of community, including co-hort groups representing youth, disability, housing, and women. This approach ensures that housing solutions are inclusive of different cultural backgrounds, geographical locations, socioeconomic statuses, and other intersecting identities.
