Amina Hoque, a Bronx native, recently joined the firm as an associate, in their personal injury department. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Hoque worked at the Bronx District Attorney's office in their Special Victims Division -Domestic Violence bureau. Ms. Hoque is admitted to the New York State bar. She graduated from Pace University in 2012 with a B.S. in Criminal Justice and obtained her J.D. from CUNY School of Law where she studied as an evening student while working full time as a legal assistant for a solo practitioner who specialized in personal injury law. Ms. Hoque has always had a passion for helping those in need. Working at Shulman and Hill allows Ms. Hoque to continue to help others who have suffered and advocate on their behalf to obtain the justice they deserve.
Angela Nicolosi is a parter at Shulman & Hill. Prior to joining Shulman & Hill, Angela has spent more than 10 years representing injured workers in her practice of Workers' Compensation Law. Angela has developed close relationships with her clients through her zealous representation from the inception of their claim, through the litigation process. Over the course of her career, Angela has represented thousands of injured workers, achieving favorable outcomes in court hearings, negotiations, trials, and settlement. Angela has extensive experience in all areas of Workers' Compensation Law, from slip and falls, motor vehicle accidents, hearing loss claims, construction accidents, and repetitive stress claims. Angela was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2011. She graduated magna cum laude from Molloy College, as a distinguished member of the college's Honor's Program, with a B.A. in English, with a minor in Philosophy. Angela maintains a J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law, graduating in 2010, and advancing her studies while in law school through her work in the Law Reform Advocacy Clinic and Trial Techniques National Institute for Trial Advocacy.

Anthony C. Sears is an Associate Attorney with the firm's personal injury department. Mr. Sears understands how the life of those injured changes in an instant and is committed to achieving the best results. Mr. Sears was named Top 100 Attorneys of 2022 and to Super Lawyers Rising Stars for 2019, 2020, and 2021. He has successfully recovered millions of dollars for his clients and has litigated numerous news-worthy cases. He has mediated and arbitrated commercial automobile and premises liability cases successfully, resulting in million-dollar settlements and awards for his clients. Ari R. Lieberman has extensive litigation experience in personal injury cases, including catastrophic injuries from motor vehicle accidents, construction accidents, and premises liability. Throughout his career, Ari has obtained numerous multi-million dollar settlements, including $3 Million for a police officer who was injured in a motor vehicle accident, $2.25 Million for a deliveryman injured on the job, and $1 Million for a construction worker injured at work. Benjamin Rabinowitz is a Senior Associate Attorney at Shulman & Hill where he concentrates his practice on passionately representing injured workers of diverse backgrounds and circumstances to ensure that they receive the benefits they deserve. He has spent the past decade advocating on behalf of clients and handling all aspects of Workers' Compensation claims and litigation, including trials, depositions, settlements, and authorization of medical treatment requests. Benjamin earned his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law where he served as a member of the Intellectual Property, Media and Entertainment Law Journal, Media & Entertainment Law Society, and the Latin American Law Students Association and he earned his undergraduate degree from Harvard College where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Citation in Spanish language studies. While at Harvard College Mr. Rabinowitz played for the Harvard Men's Baseball Team and spent a semester abroad studying at the University of Barcelona. Mr. Rabinowitz is the youngest of three brothers and remains an exercise enthusiast and avidly follows his favorite sports teams: New York Yankees, New York Giants and New York Knicks.

David Schleider is a Partner at Shulman & Hill, where he specializes in Workers' Compensation litigation. Edvin Hot is an Associate Attorney at Shulman & Hill where he specializes in Workers' Compensation litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Edvin spent more than three years representing thousands of injured workers before the New York State Workers' Compensation Board and disabled individuals in their claims for Social Security Disability benefits before the Social Security Administration. Edvin was born in Montenegro and immigrated to the United States with his family in 1994. He is a graduate of Syracuse University Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs where he majored in political science and psychology and played on the Men's Varsity Soccer team from 2003-2007. Edvin received his law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2013.

Ellie Silverman is an experienced Civil Rights litigator with an extensive background in personal injury law. She brings passion, creativity and heart to every argument as she advocates for incarcerated persons (past and present), the wrongfully convicted, those claiming actual innocence and any other victim who has been falsely arrested and imprisoned, maliciously prosecuted, physically and emotionally abused, brutalized, assaulted, manipulated, demonized, denied basic human needs, refused medical attention and otherwise prevented from due process of law. She focuses on bringing attention and awareness to the injustices that continue to occur on the streets of our New York neighborhoods and within the walls of our prisons, jails, or police precincts. Ellie's mission is to continue to fight against society's apathetic stance on the inhumane and inappropriate treatment that is bestowed on members of our community and their families, many of whom are often overlooked and almost always ignored in our disproportionate criminal and civil justice systems and by the Department of Corrections.
Evan Lloyd is an Associate Attorney at Shulman & Hill where he specializes in Workers' Compensation litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Evan spent a year and a half representing thousands of injured workers before the New York State Workers' Compensation Board and disabled individuals in their claims for Workers' Compensation Claims. Evan was born and raised in New York. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University where he majored in political science and Sociology from 2013-2017. Evan received his law degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2020.
Jennifer Giovannetti has built a career successfully advocating for injured workers in the areas of both Workers' Compensation and Social Security Disability. She believes in the importance of meeting clients where they are on their own journeys to best meet their needs. Prior to working in the areas of Worker's Compensation and Social Security Disability, Ms. Giovannetti's career path led her to representing disabled students seeking a free appropriate public education. The common denominator in all the areas of her practice over the years is that she has a passion for helping others, especially those most vulnerable. Ms. Giovannetti earned her bachelor's degree in Journalism at St. John's University, where she also received her J.D. degree. She was the Associate Managing Editor of the New York International Law Review during law school. Ms. Giovannetti has enjoyed writing as both a journalist and as a lawyer and received the CALI Award for Excellent Achievement in Law & Literature upon her graduation from law school. Jonathan Sperber is Shulman & Hill's Head of Finance with 10+ years of professional work experience in finance and accounting. Jonathan has acquired a versatile work experience throughout his career while working at startups, small/medium sized businesses, and Big Four Accounting Firms! He specializes in building finance and accounting infrastructures/systems, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management, financial reporting, financial planning in Excel, payroll, and much more! He holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, and both Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Accounting from Queens College. Jonathan also volunteers for various charitable organizations and is a Red Cross/Nassau Certified Lifeguard.
Matthew Nosenchuk is an Associate Attorney at Shulman & Hill where he specializes in Workers' Compensation litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Matthew worked at a non-profit representing hundreds of indigent New Yorkers in eviction defense proceedings. Matthew was born and raised on Long Island, New York. Michael Edelman has almost two decades of experience working in complex personal injury litigation in the State and Federal Courts of New York and New Jersey. Michael Zogala is a pre-litigation managing attorney in Shulman & Hill's personal injury practice. He has been admitted to practice in the State of New York since 2008 and joined the firm in 2021 after co-managing a successful personal injury law firm with over 60 employees. Originally from Canada, Mr. Zogala received his J.D. cum laude from Osgoode Hall Law School (Toronto) in 2007, where he focused his legal studies on complex litigation and mass torts. While in law school, Mr. Zogala was an editor of the Osgoode Hall Law Journal and he interned for various Judges of the Ontario Court of Justice. He has had multiple academic articles published in the Canadian Class Action Review.
Since moving to New York, Mr. Zogala has become a well-respected trial attorney whose practice focuses primarily on litigation on behalf of Plaintiffs who have been injured as the result of motor vehicle collisions, construction accidents, premises negligence, defective products, and medical malpractice. He has successfully tried a substantial number of cases to verdict in all five boroughs of the City of New York, as well as Nassau, Westchester, Orange, and Dutchess counties. He has also represented corporate clients in commercial litigation. Murielle Bedard, Head of Human Resources, is a professional with 20+ years of human resource management experience. The last three years, Murielle has been with Shulman & Hill, PLLC heading up their Human Resources Department. She has experience in strategic human resource planning, staffing, federal and state law compliance, employee benefits, performance management, compensation and payroll, training, and management coaching. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. Murielle is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) with a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification, and a Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI). Murielle is community-minded and offers her services an active member of the Board of Directors for South Shore Association for Independent Living on Long Island since July of 2020, and volunteers at the Ronald McDonald's House in New Hyde Park, NY since 2008.
Born and raised in New York, Partner Noah Passer is an experienced litigator who focuses his practice on representing injured workers and maximizing their compensation. Noah has extensive experience in all aspects of Workers' Compensation, handling claims from inception and trial through permanency and settlement. He is comfortable litigating any disputed issue dealing with aspects of the employment relationship, medical treatment authorization, disability, permanency, or otherwise. Omar joins Shulman & Hill as an associate attorney in the civil rights department. His prior work as a law clerk in the New Jersey Superior Court, and time as an Assistant Corporation Counsel representing the City of New York in similar civil lawsuits has equipped him to handle complex civil rights cases with diligence and care. He is passionate about defending the rights of the most underserved populations. He received his BA from Hartwick College and his JD from Touro University, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, where served as an Editor of the Law Review.
