OWLS HEAD RUSTICS

After 30 years of working our retail stores in Pennsylvania, my wife Janet, and I retired in 1997, returning to her Adirondack childhood roots. We purchased 72 acres in Keene, New York at the foot of Owls Head Mountain, which is in the heart of the Adirondack High Peaks. Ten years ago we renovated the original log store on our property that was built in the 1930's along scenic Highway Route 73. This shop has been the "Adirondack Quilts and Gifts" and we have enjoyed selling local textiles and furniture over the spring, summer and fall seasons for many years... In 2006 we built a 5,000 square foot furniture gallery and we offer an extensive selection of the Great Camp style furniture that is in such demand here in the North Country. We have been fortunate to have met many artisans and furniture makers in the Adirondack area and now employ several of those builders full time along with other local artisans contributing very unique, one-of-a-kind pieces that are on display in our..
