Dr. Ben Burnett is the President of Pվ��Ƶ. He began his tenure as Dean of the Pվ��Ƶ School of Education in 2014. His service to the field of education began in 1986 and since that time he has worked with the students of south Mississippi as a band director, middle school principal, and superintendent of education. Dr. Burnett is a faculty member in the Pվ��Ƶ School of Education where he teaches School Law. He also served as the Executive Director for the Program for Research and Evaluation of Public Schools (PREPS), a state-wide non-profit consortium of public schools in Mississippi. He has been married to Denice Burnett, a retired special education director and Pվ��Ƶ graduate, for 32 years. They have one son, David Lane, who is graduate of Pվ��Ƶ. He is an active member of Willow Pointe Baptist Church where he serves as an Elder, Small Group Facilitator and drummer for the praise band.

Dr. Daniel Caldwell has served his alma mater over three decades on three Pվ��Ƶ campuses. Currently he is the Provost and Executive Vice President of Pվ��Ƶ and is also a Professor of Religion. Dr. Caldwell has extensive knowledge of the Bible and the MBC. He has had a pulpit ministry in over 20 Mississippi Baptist churches with attendance from 30 to 1500, and has a wide range of publications. Dr. Caldwell's international travels include 13 academic trips and several mission trips. He and his wife, Brenda, are members of Petal First Baptist Church and have three adult children and two grandchildren.

Dr. Carol Payne is an Assistant Professor on the Tradition Campus. She is the graduate program and alternate route program coordinator. Dr. Payne attended Pվ��Ƶ in 1991 as an undergraduate student in Education. Since her graduation from Pվ��Ƶ in 1993, she has acquired three additional degrees, including her doctorate degree in Educational Leadership in 2005.
Dr. Payne has thirty years experience in education, beginning as a teacher assistant in Harrison County. She spent twelve years in the classroom before becoming an assistant principal in the Gulfport School District. She was the principal at Anniston Elementary in the Gulfport School District for nine years until being named Curriculum Director for the Moss Point School District.
Now retired from public education, Dr. Payne concentrates her efforts on supporting new teachers in the education field through the alternate route program at Pվ��Ƶ. She also assists students acquiring advanced degrees by teaching Educational Leadership classes on the Tradition Campus.

Dr. Italo Subbarao joined the Pվ��Ƶ College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012, serving as associate professor of clinical sciences and later senior associate dean. He is a leader in domestic and international disaster response and has provided field and technical support during large-scale emergencies like earthquakes in Haiti and Pakistan, shootings in Mumbai, and hurricanes like Katrina - which brought about his first visit to Mississippi in 2005.
Seven years later, having worked as an emergency room physician and disaster fellow at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and director of Public Health Readiness for the American Medical Association, Dr. Subbarao arrived in Hattiesburg.
"I have had the honor of serving next to Dr. Turner as we met the challenges of accreditation, curriculum development, faculty recruitment and natural disasters like the January 2017 tornado that did so much damage at Pվ��Ƶ," Subbarao said.
