SAN PRIMO BREWING COMPANY

We began brewing kombucha more than 10 years ago in the United States, where we fell in love with this effervescent drink in its most authentic form. We became obsessed with knowing everything we could about the best practices of brewing and second fermentation, about its origin, and of course the multitude of health benefits. When we came to Europe in 2016 we knew that our beloved SCOBY would be coming too. We made sure to package her up with just enough liquid to make it through security in our carry-on snack bag and one of our first stops upon our arrival was to get a brewing vessel and everything necessary to get a new brew started. Since then our SCOBY has been carefully attended to all over Europe, including in the pre-alps of northern Italy where the dream to start sharing our brew began and where the name, San Primo Brewing, was born.
