Background: Mr. Brown's career started in GIS with a focus on hydrology and geologic work. He later became a Certified Floodplain Manager with experience working alongside FEMA and local governments in their floodplain mapping. Currently David uses his skillset to handle all environmental concerns at a large wastewater expansion project on Oahu. He is the lead engineer on environmental compliance as well as Plant coordination for one the state's largest public projects.

- Claims Consultant & Estimator
Background: Thirty (30) years of heavy/civil experience in project management and estimating. Projects include a wide range from resort work in Hawaii to railroad work in Montana. Design-build project development for projects to $4.3 billion.
Proficiency: Estimating, especially using the HCSS platform. Erik has built HCSS systems for over thirty (30) different companies. Erik is also outstanding in contract/change negotiation and development of extraordinary construction means and methods to optimize job costs. Erik has extensive experience in small to large ($500 million) simple to complex claims.
Background: Mr. Vander Velde is relatively new to the field, but has excelled in time impact analysis, project narrative, and quantitative analysis of project delays. Jeff has worked on projects from Maine to Hawaii and is proficient on Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
Background: Mr. Bunting has over 30 years of construction experience working for contractors and for a large public agency. After college graduation, Kevin began his career in construction as a field engineer and moved into project management and estimating. Most of his career has been in the heavy/civil industry where he has generated hard bid estimates and agency-independent cost estimates. As an LSU graduate, Kevin bleeds purple and yellow.

- Licensing Manager & Business Advisor
Background: Ms. Kelsey started with SJCC in a corporate role as manager of general and adminstrative tasks. However, due to her tireless effort and drive for growth she has transitioned into leading SJCC's Contractor Licensing Department. Monique now handles licensing, company/RME matchmaking, and business setup for clients in over forty (40) states.
Background: Mr. Jennings started his construction career while in the cooperative education program at college. For the past 30+ years across North America and Hawaii, Scott has taken roles from field engineer to division manager to company owner in the heavy/civil sector. His passion lies in the many facets of construction including means and methods, contract law, estimating, and cost controls. Scott enjoys teaching and writing in the construction field as evidenced by his 250+ podcasts and his recent time as an HCSS HeavyBid Contract Trainer.
Background: Mr. Mullen's experience was gained through simple schedule analysis on projects throughout southern California, large fast-tracked work on Google data centers in the United States midwest, and then his resume continued to build with SJCC on projects up to $430 million in Hawaii and Guam. Pat left southern California in 2020 and leads all scheduling for SJCC from his home in Boise, Idaho.
Background: Ms. Teixeira has extensive knowledge in construction administration with over 15 years of construction accounting experience, including A/P and A/R, payroll, and certified payroll from general contracting to specialized fields. Her love of numbers contributes to her success.

Background: Mr. Bonnett brings over 35 years of heavy/civil and environmental construction experience to SJCC. Rob has had varied roles in self-performed construction from field engineer to division manager, and is expert in claim support, estimating, entitlement review, and contracts.
Background: Mr. Siles joined SJCC with a highly technical background in machine design, mathematics, and MEP construction. Rodrigo worked in plumbing and piping construction which has helped in his role as manager of as-builts and drafting at Hawaii's largest wastewater facility on Sand Island, Oahu.
Background: Mr. Duckworth's technical background is in geotechnical engineering where he practiced as a design engineer. Shane's career altered course to a degree when he took a lead role in technical. Shane developed a relationship with SJCC from his work with Mr. Jennings in forensic investigation of residential and commercial damage.
Background: Mr. Olson is a construction expert with over 15 years of construction industry experience. As Project Manager, Travis self-performed Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Steel scopes of work. During his project management career, he directly set up and maintained project document control systems, cost reports, labor reports, baseline schedules, schedule updates, escrow bid docs, and claims processes. He has also led large-scale estimates for Joint Venture Design-Build projects totaling over $2.9B.
