Brian Holsonbake - Chairman

Brian Holsonbake serves as Chairman for Skyline Technology Solutions where he oversees the overall strategic direction of the company as well as provides management and leadership guidance for Mia Millette, the CEO of Skyline. Brian also meets with existing and prospective strategic customers and partners. Brian is also passionate about meeting and engaging with employees whenever possible. Brian founded Skyline in 2004 with his wife Janice. Brian and Janice started the company out of their home in Maryland. From the start, they have emphasized the importance of operating with a servant mindset and being a positive presence for employees, customers, and the communities they serve while providing IT solutions and services for customers. Prior to starting Skyline, Brian worked for several large IT integrators supporting primarily transportation, education, federal and commercial customers. While working for those integrators, Brian held many roles ranging from Senior Systems Engineer to Senior Network Engineer as well as project management support. Brian has always focused on solving the complex challenges impacting the organizations he served while also building deep meaningful relationships based on mutual trust and respect. Brian earned his Bachelor of Science in Information System Management (IFSM) from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Brian currently lives with his wife and two children in Carroll County Maryland. Brian enjoys a wide range of activities. Brian is active in his church supporting the audio and video needs as well as doing mission work to repair homes damaged by natural disasters. He also enjoys pretending to be a farmer and operating large pieces of equipment on some land that they have. Brian also enjoys hiking, running, mountain bike riding, motorcycle riding, and spending time with his family and friends. Chris Shafer - CIO

Chris Shafer was appointed to the role of Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Skyline Technology Solutions in January 2021. He oversees daily IT operations, regulatory and compliance management, and external technology product offerings and delivery. Additionally, Chris serves as a trusted advisor and consultant for client strategy, planning, and cybersecurity incident meetings. Chris originally joined Skyline in 2015 as a Senior Systems Engineer. Four years later, he was promoted to the role of Director of Technology and Innovation, and was responsible for leading cybersecurity, automation, and technology migration initiatives. Earlier in his career, he worked for AT&T, where he concentrated on identity management and DevOps initiatives. Chris is genuinely passionate about his line of work, advocating for the use of technology to identify and solve real-world problems. Chris is a year-round outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys rock climbing, skiing, mountain biking, scuba diving, motorcycle riding, and spending time with his wife, Sarah, and their dog, Jackson. David Parsha - VP of Sales

As Vice President of Sales, David works with a team of Business Development and Senior Technical resources to develop opportunities with customers across the United States where Skyline's experience and approach help those customers to achieve better IT outcomes. Prior to joining Skyline, David worked with Bloomberg Financial Markets for 13+ years in New Jersey and New York, working across operations, program management, and business development. David moved to Maryland in 2006 to work on the turnaround of Cygnus Business Media as VP of Interactive Platforms. David joined Skyline in 2011, initially managing the networkMaryland program. David currently resides in Crownsville. When he is not working, he is spending time with his wife and two children.

Jason Ross

Jason Ross serves as Vice President, Corporate Services for Skyline Technology Solutions. He joined the company in May of 2006, leveraging his unique experience working in managed services for both commercial service providers and government IT organizations. Jason manages the procurement and contracts teams within Skyline ensuring compliance with government proposals and the resulting contracts while also overseeing the corporate facility and logistics infrastructure needed to deliver world class products and services. Under his leadership in a variety of management roles within Skyline, the company has grown from a dozen employees to over 300 people during his tenure. Additionally, Jason has been instrumental in building the government contract base through successful contract wins that have resulted in the rapid growth of Skyline. Prior to joining Skyline, Jason worked for the State of Maryland Department of Budget and Management (now known as DoIT). As the Director of networkMaryland™, he oversaw the development, build-out and operations of the State of Maryland owned service provider network serving all State agencies and many partner Counties. While at the State of Maryland he also led a number of Statewide procurements to provide IT services to State agencies. His technical and management experience was developed working at CLEC's and for Comcast Business Services. Jason holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from the University of Maryland and a Masters of Telecommunications Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus. A resident of Chesapeake Beach, he is married, has three children, and enjoys long distance running and working out. Additionally, Jason enjoys being a soccer and dance dad. Julie Weber

Julie Weber serves as Vice President, Accounting for Skyline Technology Solutions. She joined the company in November 2013, leveraging and applying her background in accounting and financial process and controls to successfully elevate the sophistication and efficiencies of Skyline's accounting operations. Julie oversees Skyline's accounting team and corporate financial integrations. The accuracy and reliability of the accounting function is key to the success and growth of Skyline through in-depth reporting and data analysis. Julie demonstrates her passion for technology and innovation through her work to optimize Skyline software and auxiliary tools. Processes and controls are streamlined and provide transparent reporting such as BI Dashboards available for use by diverse roles throughout the organization. Prior to joining Skyline, Julie worked for SMC Infrastructure Solutions, a subsidiary of Argan, Inc. As controller of this public subsidiary, she managed the company's accounting operations, specifically focused on internal controls and maintaining the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations, audits, and reporting. Her foundation for success was built through earlier career experiences at real estate and construction organizations as well as public accounting with the CPA firm BKD. Julie is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) who holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Colorado. A resident of Crofton, she is married, has two children, and enjoys baseball, DIY projects, and traveling. She is also an active advocate of childhood cancer research and awareness. Matt Ball - COO

Matt Ball serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Skyline Technology Solutions. He currently leads all delivery aspects of the company's service portfolio, including IT professional services, managed IT services, physical security, infrastructure services, intelligent transportation systems, video sharing services, and custom software development services. Matt was appointed COO after being part of Skyline's leadership team for six years. He was initially hired as Director of IT Services and later promoted to the role of Vice President of Service Delivery. Matt's industry experience spans more than 20 years. Prior to joining Skyline in 2014, he was president of Sentinel IT Solutions, a company he founded to deliver managed IT services to commercial clients in the mid-Atlantic area. Earlier in his career, in partnership with a professional colleague, Matt co-founded Adera and LightWave Communications, a start-up voice and data telecommunications firm devoted to providing IP network solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. Collectively, these entrepreneurial roles earned Matt a reputation as a visionary executive with exemplary strategy, planning, communication, team building, and implementation capabilities. Matt earned his bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University, where he graduated magna cum laude. Additionally, he earned a Master of Science degree in information and telecommunications systems for business from Johns Hopkins University. He and his wife, Mandy, are parents to four children. He enjoys volunteering on the board of directors for Rockbridge Academy, where his children go to school, as well as running, playing golf, and traveling. Mia Millette - CEO

Mia Millette serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Skyline Technology Solutions, where she leads execution of company's overall mission and vision. Mia was appointed CEO in 2021 after serving as Skyline's Chief Operating Officer (COO) beginning in 2018. In this role, she leverages more than two decades of technology and business experience to advance Skyline's strategic initiatives, with keen focus on enriching the lives of those served by the company. Prior to leading Skyline, Mia held a wide variety of roles in IT, including those in executive management. Previous employers include GANTECH, where she held roles including Director of Strategic Operations, Vice President of Strategic Operations, and Vice President of Managed Services. She spent the first nine years of her career at System Automation Corporation (SA), holding positions including Software Developer, Business Analyst, Project Manager as well as Manager of Application Delivery. A Maryland transplant from the small Pennsylvania manufacturing town of Perryopolis, Mia knew from a young age she was destined for a career in technology. Thanks to her second grade teacher, Carol McFarland, her passion for IT was ignited when she learned to code a sequence that made a figure dance across the screen of her school's early model Texas Instruments computer - a success she fondly looks back on to this day. She earned her Bachelor of Science in computer science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania as well as her Master of Science in computer systems management from the University of Maryland Global Campus (formerly known as the University of Maryland University College). Her work ethic, focus, energy and passion resulted in attaining Project Management Professional (PMP) credentials and ITIL® Expert certification. Additionally, she earned a SmartCXO award in 2012 from Washington DC's SmartCEO Magazine for her creative management vision, leadership philosophies, and innovative strategies. An avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Mia presently resides in Howard County with her husband, Jim, and five children. She enjoys introducing young women and all children to the field of STEM and its endless possibilities. In her spare time, she looks forward to her weekly Peloton workout sessions with her childhood friends, traveling with her family, and enjoying the Chesapeake Bay on her SUP board. Paul Lennon - CTO

Paul Lennon oversees Skyline's IT service delivery division responsible for consulting, engineering, and operations. He consults customers with the development of their strategic direction and the associated technology innovation, people education/development, and operational process improvements. He is responsible for delivering IT-driven solutions related to Enterprise and Service Provider Network Services, Physical Plant (fiber) management, Information Technology Security and Assurance, and Public and Private Cloud. He has served as an Enterprise Architect of Maryland's Statewide Broadband buildout initiative resulting in more than 1,200 fiber miles and providing lit telecommunications infrastructure to deliver network services to over 1,000 State and County Community Anchor institutions. Additionally, he supported initiatives to implement the State's unified IT Enterprise Architecture integration of over 30 State agencies into a unified IT Services delivery model. He supported the development and implementation of the Maryland Department of Transportation's underlying communications and cybersecurity architecture for their ITS initiatives. He has 24 years of experience providing consulting, operations management, and program management of developing and managing business-centric IT solutions in support of Departments of Transportation, Statewide Information Technology Initiatives, local and municipal government, and the commercial sector.

Pete Hollerbach - CFO

Pete Hollerbach serves as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Skyline Technology Solutions. He joined the company in October 2010, leveraging and applying his extensive background in accounting and finance management to successfully redesign and transform Skyline's reporting and analysis functions. Pete oversees Skyline's accounting, contracts, and logistics teams, whose collective work plays an instrumental role in optimizing operational systems and corporate growth strategies. Under his leadership, Skyline has enhanced operations and financial processes to support annual growth by as much as 50 percent a year. Additionally, Pete spearheads a number of major corporate policy and compliance initiatives, with a focus on building and delivering state-of-the-art services and software packages to meet the needs of Skyline's diverse customer base. Prior to joining Skyline, Pete worked for Euler Hermes ACI. As Vice President, Controller, and Treasurer, he managed the firm's collective accounting, reinsurance, tax, and treasury functions across North and South America. His foundation for success was built through earlier career and management experiences at Zurich US, American Fidelity Mortgage, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Pete is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Maryland. A resident of Annapolis, he is married, has three children, and enjoys golf and skiing. Additionally, Pete officiates women's lacrosse and field hockey games. Zach Wells

Zach Wells serves as vice president of workforce development for Skyline Technology Solutions, where he oversees the areas of human resources, recruiting, and learning & development. Zach began his journey at Skyline in 2008 as director of physical security through the company's first acquisition. While spending the last 12 years in Skyline holding positions in security, infrastructure, learning & development, and executive operations, he developed significant experience and a true passion for the people side of technology. Prior to his roles within Skyline, Zach earned valuable knowledge while spending 10 years in the technology and infrastructure sectors. During this time, he learned first-hand by working his way through many of the key positions of physically building fiber networks, supervising field teams, and managing large projects. As a native Marylander, Zach was born and raised in the Glen Burnie and Millersville areas where much of his extended family still resides. After spending his college years studying and working in criminal justice and law enforcement technology in North Carolina and Florida, he ultimately returned to his roots in the area where he remains today with his wife and kids. Zach and his family enjoy living in this seasonal region where they spend much of their time swimming, hiking, biking, boating, snowboarding, and almost anything they can do outdoors with friends and family. He most enjoys the opportunity to be a teacher and coach to his two curious and athletic sons as they navigate school, boxing, martial arts, and soccer together.
