Though this was a maiden period, the management Organised Astavadhanam with Sri Medasani Mohan to the satisfaction of the public and conducted District Sports and Games meet in 1985-86 encouraging not only its students but also students of other colleges. The Department of Telugu also arranged a talk on "Whether Telugu could be made a classical Language" with Smt. Prabhavathi, Avadhani and Retired Principal of Rly. Jr. College, Guntakal as a Guest speaker. It was attended by the staff from other Departments in the college. All its activities gradually came to such a pause that the student enrollment in both the colleges shot up and it had to go for a permanent Physical infrastructure. For this purpose the Society acquired land at two different places for the construction of Pucca Buildings for both the colleges.
