Dr. Susan Davenport, the Executive Vice President & Chief of Staff, heads a talented team of professionals and oversees key areas of advancement and administration, with direct supervision of the Office of University Relations and Marketing, the Office of Development and Alumni Relations, Policy and Procedures, and Internal Audit. She also manages the operations of the Office of the President and is the assistant secretary for the Stockton University Board of Trustees.
As the University's senior vice president, Dr. Davenport serves as the President's chief representative, who has overarching responsibilities to provide leadership and guidance to executive members of Stockton's leadership team. Working closely with internal and external University stakeholders, the Executive Vice President leads the University's efforts in advancing strategic initiatives, aligning academic affairs, enrollment management, university relations and development to implement a comprehensive institutional advancement program within the mission of the University.

Karen is the Assistant Director of Counseling Services. She is a graduate of Stockton University with a Bachelor in Psychology and completed her Masters in Mental Health Counseling and Applied Psychology from Rowan University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and an Approved Clinical Supervisor with nine years of experience providing individual, couples, and family therapy with adolescents over the age of 15 and adults. She has worked in a variety of settings, including a homeless shelter, a community mental health center, and a forensic setting with court mandated clients. Karen has extensive experience providing psychological assessments to a wide variety of patient populations.
Karen provides services for adults seeking treatment for a range of mental health concerns including depression and anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), grief and bereavement, trauma recovery, adjustment disorders, mood disorders, anger management, and behavioral techniques. She specializes in treating individuals who have experienced trauma and problems forming or maintaining satisfying interpersonal relationships. In addition, she is adept at treating military civilians who have recently separated from the military and are experiencing stress due to reintegration. She is committed to providing the highest quality of care to promote your healing and growth.

Kristen received her Bachelor's of Science in Speech Communications from Syracuse University and her Master's degree in Health Education from Saint Joseph's University. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist with 8 years of experience in public health as a Health Educator/Risk Communicator and has been trained to respond to disease outbreaks, natural or man-made disasters. She continues to be a volunteer on the County's Disaster Response Team and is also a Medical Reserve Corps volunteer. She is also certified in Mental Health First Aid and has received opioid overdose prevention training. As a Health Educator, Kristen helps to support the Wellness Center staff in developing a variety of programs relevant to student health issues. She works collaboratively with the other Health Educator and Peer Education students assisting them with presentations, marketing of events and other programming.

Laura is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), with a therapeutic focus on trauma survivors, LGBTQIA+ issues, and disordered eating. She also provides counseling to students who struggle academically and/or socially. Laura works closely with the Women's, Gender and Sexuality Center (WGSC) as the liaison counselor and is a trained sexual assault/Title IX victim's advocate. She runs a number of support groups in the Counseling Center for women and for trans* students. In 2018, she successfully held Stockton's first clothing swap for our transitioning student population.
Laura strongly believes in individualized treatment and therefore uses a variety of therapeutic techniques including CBT, Person (client) centered, Solution Focused, DBT, and Strength/systems perspective. Laura has a passion for helping people find the tools that they need to be their personal best. One of Laura's favorite quotes, from a world class woman, Maya Angelou is "when you know better…. you can do better."
Laura is an Alumna of Stockton University, having graduated in 1998 with an undergraduate degree in Public Health. She went on to get her MSW from Rutgers in 2001. Previously, Laura worked in various mental health settings that focused on substance abuse, eating disorders, seriously mentally ill, trauma & PTSD, and in home care with children and their families. After having her two daughters, Laura joined a local private practice office where she worked full time from 2006 to 2017.

Lucy received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Penn State University in 2009 and her Master of Social Work from Rutgers University in 2013. Lucy started her social work career as an Education Counselor for individuals with psychiatric disabilities in higher education. Upon completing her MSW, Lucy worked for 5 years as a child/adolescent outpatient therapist providing individual and group counseling. Lucy has worked as a trauma therapist following natural disasters, traumatic events and school shootings. Additionally, Lucy has provided tele-therapy for several years and is well versed in the use of technology for increasing accessibility to therapy.
Lucy offers a person centered, strengths-based approach with students and enjoys using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques and Mindfulness tools. She strives to be empathetic and understanding with all of her students. Areas of professional interest include individual therapy, groups, anxiety, depression, trauma, difficulties with transitions and adjusting to new situations, interpersonal relationship challenges and multicultural/diversity concerns.

Patty McConville is joining the Learning Access Program following a seventeen year career in K-12 education. She served students with disabilities from kindergarten through twenty-one years of age as a special education teacher, curriculum supervisor and principal. She is a 1998 graduate of Stockton University and eventually earned her NJ Principal's Certificate through the NJ EXCEL Leaders to Leaders Program. Patty is excited to join the campus community working to ensure equal access for all students. She believes in developing students as self-advocates and coaching them as they navigate their way through college life. Patty resides in Atlantic County with her husband and three children.

Stephanie has worked in the Office of Community Wellness and Health Education since 2013, first as a Graduate Student Worker, then as a TES, and currently as the Immunization Clerk. She began attending Stockton in 2007 and received her Bachelor of Arts in Literature (with a minor in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies) in 2013; she also earned her Master of Arts in American Studies in 2015. She loves all things south Jersey and during her time at Stockton has done a great deal of work with the South Jersey Culture and History Center, both on and off campus.
