Erin is a partner at Taubman Dias Dominguez LLP, a firm dedicated exclusively to the practice of family law. Erin has been a Certified Specialist in Family Law as certified by the California Board of Legal Specialization since 2018, and a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) since 2021.
Erin represents individuals in all aspects of family law proceedings, including complex property division, business interests, child and spousal support, and custody and visitation. While most matters can be settled through direct negotiation, mediation, or court settlement conferences, Erin is experienced in litigating matters at hearings and trial that cannot be resolved through settlement. Erin also has extensive experience in domestic violence restraining order (DVRO) proceedings, parentage actions, and pre- and post-marital agreements. Erin enjoys the practice of family law because of the connection with her clients at a difficult and transformative time in their lives, and because of the complex and varied factual or legal issues that arise in each case.
Prior to joining the firm in 2020, Erin was a partner at Simborg • Killingsworth and, earlier in her career, an associate in the family law department of Sideman & Bancroft LLP in San Francisco. Erin began her legal career at Cooley LLP working on commercial litigation and antitrust matters.
Originally from El Paso, Texas, Erin received her B.A. in 2003 from the University of Texas at Austin where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with honors. In 2007, Erin received her J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law, where she concentrated her course work on family law, co-founded the Family Law Society, and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Berkeley La Raza Law Journal.
Erin has served on the Board of Directors of the National Center for Lesbian Rights, a national non-profit committed to advancing the rights of LGBT individuals and their families through impact litigation, education, and public policy advocacy. Erin also co-runs a mentor group through AAML for mid-level family law associates and solo practitioners.
Rachel Kimiko Leff-Kich represents clients through all aspects of their marital dissolution action, from initial consultation to settlement and/or trial, and all phases of the process, including post-judgment actions. Her practice includes dissolution, complex property characterization and division, high conflict child custody and visitation, and child and spousal support.
Rachel has practiced family law exclusively since December 2010, representing a diverse range of clients all over the Bay Area, in Marin, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley. Her clients include founders of companies, software engineers, lawyers, teachers, and stay at home parents. She has handled numerous domestic violence matters, domestic and international relocations ("move-aways"), Marvin cases, cases involving children with special needs, as well as domestic torts. She also handles straightforward family law cases, pre- and post-marital agreements, and marital settlements, often working closely with financial experts and other professionals. Whether achieving a negotiated resolution or a litigated outcome, Rachel works with her clients to find solutions that best protect their interests.
After growing up in Berkeley, Rachel received her B.A. in 2004 from UC Davis. In 2010, Rachel received her J.D. from Santa Clara University. She was the Chair of the Family Law Section of the San Mateo Bar Association (2020-2021), served on the Board of Directors the San Mateo Bar Association (2022), and serves on the Board of Jewish Family Community Services East Bay (2020-present).
Rachel enjoys family law because of the opportunity to help people achieve a positive outcome during what can be an extremely difficult time in their lives. Her conviction, empathy, and legal research and writing skills combine to make her a strong advocate on behalf of her clients, both in and outside the courtroom.
Rodrigo Dias has been representing clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area in family law matters since 2007. He began his legal career as a partner at Ragghianti Freitas LLP in San Rafael. In 2011, Rodrigo started the Law Offices of Rodrigo Dias, focusing solely on family law issues until he joined C. Clay Greene, Beth Jordan, and Romy Taubman to form Greene Jordan Taubman & Dias, LLP. Presently, Rodrigo represents clients in Marin County exclusively.
Rodrigo has been interviewed for various publications, including a recent podcast on the legal implications of infidelity.
Rodrigo is certified as a Family Law Specialist by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
In addition to his expertise as a litigator, Rodrigo is a skilled mediator. He provides mediation services to parties seeking to avoid litigation. He has acted as a settlement conference panelist for the Marin County Superior Court to help resolve property division, spousal support and complicated custody matters. Rodrigo also offers arbitration services for parties looking to arbitrate their case outside of the public courts. He is a certified by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers as a Certified Arbitrator.
He is a member of the Marin County Bar Association, and currently serves on its Board of Directors. Rodrigo is a also a member of the San Francisco Bar Association, the Richard M. Sangster Inns of Court, and Bay Area Lawyers for Individual Freedom (BALiF).
Rodrigo earned his law degree at the University of San Francisco. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from San Francisco State University. Rodrigo obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley in 1998 where he majored in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy.
Rodrigo's education and training in mental health has assisted him in resolving many family law matters. Rodrigo also served four years in the United States Marine Corps Reserves during and after college.
He is actively involved with the Marin Foster Care Association and currently serves as a Director on its Board of Directors.
Romy has been a partner with Taubman Dias Dominguez LLP (formerly Greene Jordan Taubman & Dias) since 2010. Romy S. Taubman was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1993, and has focused solely on family law since 2008. Romy is the president-elect of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and is certified as a Family Law Specialist by the State Bar of California. Romy has been recognized as a "Super Lawyer" since 2016.
Romy received her B.A. in American Studies from Stanford, with distinction, in 1989. She graduated Order of the Coif from UCLA law school in 1993, and then clerked for the Honorable Judge Mariana Pfaelzer in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. In 1994, Romy began in private practice as a corporate securities and mergers and acquisitions/public offerings attorney with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto. She moved to Japan in 1998, and worked as a corporate attorney in Japan for a number of years, before returning to California. In 2008, Romy transitioned from corporate law to family law.
Romy's legal background, involving complex business transactions, gives her added skills that she brings to the financial issues that arise in family law. She has handled many cases which require specialized understanding necessary to address businesses jointly owned by divorcing spouses. She is knowledgeable regarding the division of the myriad of salary and equity structures in today's business world, including general and limited partnership interests, LLC membership interests, common stock, preferred stock, ISOs, NSOs, RSUs, PSUs, etc.
Romy's practice is wide ranging. She represents clients in litigated matters, serves as a mediation consultant, and is an experienced mediator. In any of these roles, Romy's goal is the same: to help her clients attain an effective, efficient and economical resolution, whether through settlement, mediation or trial. Romy has extensive experience in conducting successful settlement conferences on complex financial and other family law issues.
Romy is a past Commissioner for the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization and a past member of the Board of Directors of the Marin County Bar Association. Romy volunteers regularly for the Marin County Superior Court Bench Bar Settlement Conference program.
