Fien is particularly interested in people and enjoys building deep relationships. Her legal background combined with her strong empathy, make her the right person to find perfect matches between clients and candidates.
Ilse is our founder and managing partner. She worked as a lawyer and consultant for more than twelve years, specializing in labor law. She is a true pioneer in the field of legal recruitment and selection. Ilse noticed that there was room for improvement, wanted to make her mark on the industry, and founded YouConnect in 2013.

Kathleen joined YouConnect as a Recruitment Consultant in 2018, later progressing to her role as Legal & Compliance Recruitment Manager. She has a degree in tax law and started her career as a VAT Consultant at one of the Big 4 in Brussels. She later transitioned to a large Belgian utility company, where she worked as a Real Estate Officer. Then she founded her own company. For the next ten years, she honed her tax skills as an independent tax consultant. Kathleen can handle just about any challenge thrown her way due to her customer-centric approach and professional dedication.
Kim has been part of our team as Personal Assistant since April 2021. She holds a master's degree in applied linguistics and journalism. Kim is always there for colleagues and loves YouConnect's warm, can-do working environment. She's upbeat, eager to learn, and is seriously passionate about language.

Stéphanie joined YouConnect in June 2018 and now, as Senior Manager of Legal Recruitment, serves as a point of contact for any company or firm looking to hire a jurist on a permanent basis. She began her career as a lawyer in Brussels in 2009 and spent several years as a legal counsel in the retail and food sector. With this experience, she specialised in the recruitment and selection of legal profiles. Additionally, Stéphanie is a board member of the Recruitment, Search & Selection committee at Federgon.

She realised she was energised most by developing and maintaining client and broker relationships. And that's worked out nicely in her role as Legal Recruitment Consultant. Sylvie always puts the client first and will move heaven and earth to understand what her clients and candidates need.
