This glass-enclosed centre recently moved to the International and Graduate Affairs Building (former Ivey Lawrence Centre). Originally housed in the Western Student Services Building, the Centre was created in 2009 through a $1-million donation from the Chu family. The Chu Centre is home base for many international events each year - from student orientations and workshops to meetings and social events.
The late Dr. David S.H. Chu and his son Ken, founded the Mission Hills Group in Hong Kong - the largest golf complex in the world. Ken Chu graduated from Western in 1996 and received an honorary degree in 2007.
