YANGTSE SPINNING

Zhangjiagang Yangtse Spinning Co., Ltd. (ZYS) is a Sino-German joint venture invested by Südwolle GmbH Co. KG (97%), the largest worsted yarn spinner in the world and Jiangsu Aoyang Industrial (Group) Co., Ltd. (3%). The total investment to date amounts to approximately USD 120 million. The three spinning factories are equipped with a total of 80.000 imported worsted spindles and were consecutively put into operation from October 1995 until April 2002. The annual production capacity of the three mills has reached approximately 10.000 tons.
