Andrew Dykes

Andrew entered the investment industry in the 1990s through an interest in green and sustainable finance. Andrew started at Martin Currie in Edinburgh and for nearly 20 years worked as an investment manager, designing and managing sustainable equity funds - latterly as co-founder and CIO of a Geneva/London-based sustainable investment management company. Since 2015 Andrew has focused on developing system solutions to scale the supply of impact anchor capital. Andrew collaborates closely across the investment ecosystem with policy actors, asset owners, investment consultants, and asset managers - which includes being on the Impact Expert Network for Snowball Impact Management. Working with LANCEA enables Andrew to mobilise more capital for asset manager clients for whom he is helping to develop and scale new impact funds and strategies. A qualified accountant, Andrew is a graduate of the University of St Andrews.

Emmanuel Soquar

Emmanuel has over 20 years' experience in managing and advising within private and public markets, with expertise in Emerging Markets and Sustainable Finance. He is the Founder of Marathon Principal Advisors, a boutique consultancy focused on Frontier Market Investments and Policy Initiatives. Prior to founding Marathon, he was a Principal and investment lead at Hemera Capital Management, a Frontier Market investment fund. He started his career within the graduate training programme at JP Morgan, before running the EM credit derivatives trading business at Goldman Sachs in London and then, as a Managing Director, leading the EMEA credit business at Royal Bank of Scotland. Emmanuel is a graduate from Trinity College, Cambridge University with an MA in Economics and currently tutors at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainable Leadership on Sustainable Finance.

Francois Bazin

Francois has over 20 years of experience developing global sales and marketing groups for Soc Gen, Calyon and Natixis, based in Tokyo, London and Paris respectively. Francois has distributed a wide array of instruments in the capital markets and real asset markets ranging from equity/derivatives to mutual funds, hedge funds and private equity funds. Most recently, Francois was senior managing director at Sciens Capital where he covered large institutions and family offices in Asia, the Middle East and Europe for Sciens hedge fund managed accounts platform and the Apollo aircraft part-out fund. Francois is a graduate of the ESSEC business school.

Ian Wilkins

Ian Wilkins has over 30 years of financial services experience, and has focused exclusively on the asset management sector since 1998, including over 16 years with Franklin Templeton where he was a Senior Director in the International division; member of the European distribution leadership team; Country Head for UK & Ireland; and board director of three FCA regulated legal entities. Ian was responsible for distribution strategy and execution across both institutional and wholesale channels, and has a strong third-party capital raising track record. Ian has successfully promoted public and private market long-only, real asset and alternative investment strategies across a wide-range asset classes. Ian holds the Investment Management Certificate, Advanced Financial Planning Certificate and completed a bespoke Executive programme at Berkeley Hass School of Business.

Jeremy Raybould

Jeremy Raybould has over 35 years of experience in the City. Having commenced his career on the floor of the London Stock Exchange working in the Gilt team at Capel Cure Myers, he then moved to Helsinki with Kansallis-Osake-Pankki (now owned by Nordea, the pan-Nordic banking group) to participate in the development and distribution of Finnish securities to international investors, including advising on and distributing several privatisations and IPOs. He gained a broader European market experience with Credit Lyonnais Securities (Europe) in 1999. Since 2002 he has been promoting smaller cap Finnish corporates to UK based investors, acting as a consultant for Helsinki based brokers, including Conventum, eQ Pankki and FIM Securities. A role with Swiss brokers, Helvea and Vontobel in the Swiss equity market, preceded Jeremy's move to Lancea LLP. Fluent in Finnish, he has a considerable network of contacts in Finland and Scandinavia. Jeremy is a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI).

Peter Thickett

Peter Thickett spent the first six years of his career with Barclays Bank International, focusing on cross-border lending. For over 30 years, he has worked in Corporate Finance/Mergers and Acquisitions, spending 13 years with S G Warburg, where he was a Director, and three years at Wasserstein Perella, where he was a Managing Director. He subsequently headed Barclays Capital's M&A activities and since 2002 has continued to be active in M&A in German-speaking countries for other firms. Peter has led transactions in a wide range of corporate finance transactions across most sectors (including TMT, industrial, chemicals, utilities) in the UK, Europe and Japan, and has spent many years resident in Germany and Japan for Barclays and Warburgs respectively. He has also advised numerous companies on their early-stage development as well as on IPOs, fund-raisings and disposals. In 2018 Peter advised a client on the successful hostile takeover of a listed US$250 million investment trust. Peter speaks French, German, Japanese and Russian. He has an MA from Cambridge University and an MBA from INSEAD.
