Hal Cobb is the Senior Partner at Cobb Dill and Hammett, LLC and practices in the Corporate & Banking Division. He studied Accounting at The Citadel, graduating in 1992, and received his M.B.A. in finance from the University of South Carolina. After spending several years in the banking industry, Hal obtained his Graduate Degree in Banking from Louisiana State University and his J.D. from the Charleston School of Law.
Hal maintains a banking and corporate practice and has vast experience in federal and state banking regulatory matters, mergers and acquisitions and commercial transactions, having successfully represented a wide variety of clients in state and federal court. While the majority of Hal's practice is located in the Lowcountry, he has active cases throughout South Carolina and in Colorado, where he is also licensed. Outside of corporate and banking work, Hal has experience and works on large commercial real estate transactions and is active in litigation across the board.
Hal serves on the South Carolina Bar's Corporate, Banking & Securities Counsel and is an active member of the South Carolina Bar and Colorado Bar. He also volunteers for multiple organizations in the Lowcountry.
When not practicing law, Hal enjoys spending time with his three sons, Tyler, Alex, and Theo.

Stefanie Huffer received her B.S. in Biology from Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, VA in 2004 where she was a member for the Beta Beta Beta Biological Honors Society. Following graduation, Stefanie worked for the Commonwealth of Virginia for two years prior to moving to the Lowcountry to attend graduate school at the College of Charleston. She received her M.S. in Environmental Science with a focus on Environmental Law and Policy in 2008 after completing her thesis "Reusing Brownfield Sites: Examination of How Environmental Laws Affect Growth and Redevelopment". Stefanie then attend the Charleston School of Law and graduated in 2012. During her time a law student, Stefanie was an adjunct professor at the College of Charleston teaching Environmental Law to undergraduates.
Stefanie is an active member of the South Carolina Bar Association and Business Networking International. Additionally, Stefanie is the supervising attorney for the pro bono legal clinic at the Donna Fielding Cancer Wellness Institute at the Roper St. Francis Cancer Center.

William S. Hammett, Esq. is a native of South Carolina. He was born and raised in the small community of West Springs, in Union County. William has traveled extensively but he never strayed from his home for very long.
Mr. Hammett received his B.A. in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting and a Minor in Spanish from the University of South Carolina Upstate.
After college, Mr. Hammett moved to Charleston to obtain his JD from the Charleston School of Law. While obtaining his legal education, William worked as a law clerk, in the Energy Industry, and prior to moving to Charleston, William worked in the Student Housing Industry.
"I love fighting for my clients. Their cause is mine. Becoming an attorney was not fun, but I love being an attorney. In my spare time, I enjoy horseback riding and fishing the Cooper and Wando."
Mr. Hammett has served as a Managing Associate of Cobb, Smith & Frost Law Firm, and in December of 2013, the Cobb Dill & Hammett Law Firm was born when three professional friends decided to combine their efforts and create a new everyman law firm. "I want to build a firm that clients can maintain a relationship with for life."
Mr. Hammett is currently licensed to practice law in South Carolina, Georgia and the Federal Courts District of South Carolina.
