Mr Gary Atkin graduated from Manchester University. His higher surgical training in General and Colorectal Surgery included training at St Mark's Hospital, the internationally-renowned centre for gastrointestinal disease. He completed a fellowship in laparoscopic colorectal surgery at Queen Elizabeth II Hospital before taking up his consultant post in 2010.
