Our mission is to deliver quality individualized care to participants based on assessment and need. To enhance the dignity and self-respect of all of our participants, and to promote participation in all aspects of community life, and socialization with others... I am a proud member here at Young at Heart. Young at Heart has changed my life. When I was severely depressed and felt great pain from the loss of a loved one Young at Heart played an important role in my recuperation. At Young at Heart I found a place where I was loved and accepted. I feel like I belong and that is very important to me especially when you think that because of an illness, physical condition, or emotional health you will no longer belong anywhere. Thanks to Young at Heart for making me feel special and important... We also provide families with encouragement, support and education as they face their roles as caregivers.
