The Trauma App was designed and developed nationally in collaboration with the four major trauma centres in NHS Scotland together with Daysix, a digital agency based in Edinburgh... The Trauma App is a robust digital solution, the result of a four year co-design and development process with trauma consultants and scribes across the four Major Trauma Centres in Scotland, with additional oversight from England, Wales and the US. It integrates seamlessly into existing clinical practice, with scribes switching from paper to an iPad... The development of The Trauma App has been driven by the development of the Scottish Trauma Network (STN) and in partnership with Daysix, a software development agency based in Scotland. STN seeks to redesign care to improve patient outcomes by delivery of integrated, multi-speciality care to the severely injured.
