GLOBAL FUND

Fund for the Global Fund is a US-based charitable organization (501 (c)(3) organization) established in 2010 to encourage individuals, corporations, foundations, and donor governments to support the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria... The Global Fund was established in 2002 to fight the three deadliest pandemics confronting humanity, AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. To date, the Global Fund partnership has invested over US $55.4 billion and saved 50 million lives, reducing the combined death rate from the three diseases by more than half in the countries where it invests... Within this mandate, FGF works with a wide variety of partners, with the decided objective to increase funding going towards the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB, and malaria. FGF also works with its partners to implement projects designed at supporting high-level advocacy efforts to position the Global Fund (and global health) on national and global health agendas.
