SAFE

SAFE is non- government, non-profit, non-political, social and non-religious organization. The SAFE formed in 2002 and registered as NGO with Community Development Dept of the District Shaheed Benazirabad (Nawabshah) under the Social welfare registration act 1961, (Reg. No. EDO/CDD (NWS)/VA/067-dated 13.4.2004). The SAFE Pakistan currently registred with Society Act 1860 on 24 August 2016 in Sukkur. So far they have 160 regular members. Society for Sustainable Agriculture & Friendly Environment (SAFE) has been formed by IPM facilitators & FFS farmers to spread knowledge on effect of pesticides on women, children and male farmers and further approach in further areas of the District, to educate the farmers to grow crops in sustainable manner.
