Garth Jemmett

Garth Jemmett is the founder of We Explain Stuff. He helps business leaders escape complexity by making strategies, processes, products and services easy to understand. His experience includes green energy, technology, private healthcare and pharmaceuticals as well as banking, asset management, short- and long-term insurance. The skills he has acquired over the years are a blend of strategic thinking and creativity from the first ten years in advertising, combined with sales and marketing which he acquired working directly with blue-chip clients.

Julia von Klonowski

With a wealth of experience in the Education sector (particularly in Further Education Colleges and Institutes of Technology) Julia is among the leading specialists in the UK. One of only three finalists in the 2024 WISE Women in Technology Award, her expertise covers Education & Training, including T-Level qualifications and Apprenticeships specialising in Digital Skills. Working with education professionals and students to transform lives, she advises on Digital Strategy, focused on employability skills that lead to successful careers. Her experience includes working for multinational corporations such as Sun Microsystems and Oracle, transforming and building businesses & networks using her personal, business and digital skills & experience. Julia works with companies such as Wavemaker, CIS Security, Axon, Hays, Tata Consulting Services, and Amazon Web Services. She specialises in Digital Skills development, and acts as a conduit to the UK Education sector. She also advises the UK government, as well as the House of Lords, on issues such as Apprenticeships and T-Levels. A Governor at various FE Colleges, Institutes of Technology (IoT's) and Education Groups such as Activate Learning, Julia is also the Chair of Trustees for The CyberHub Trust. She has previously worked on behalf of the World Bank and is active with organisations such as WISE and the Digital Poverty Alliance creating positive cultural change in STEM sectors and mentoring & supporting young women entering the world of Digital Technology.

Michael Klonowski

Michael is also the CEO of The Cyberhub Trust, a charity that specialises in DigiTech & Cyber, generating a pipeline of well-trained young professionals who, uniquely, have ‘real-world' experience.

Sarah Newman

Sarah has over 20 years' PR and communications experience, gained across a variety of sectors - both in-house and agency. She is a Communications Consultant, working primarily within the education sector and offers marketing, copywriting and PR services across all channels, as well as media training and crisis communications support. In addition to working closely with DSC, Sarah's clients include London & South-East Education Group and First News, and she is the Head of Communications for The CyberHub Trust.
