ERIE INDEPENDENCE HOUSE

The Intermediate Care Facility for other Related Conditions (ICF / ORC) of Erie Independence House was established in 1992 as an alternative to institutional care. It is one of only two ICF /ORC's in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It is designed to offer a family-like setting while promoting independence. The primary purpose of the ICF / ORC is to provide a continuous and ongoing array of Health and/ or Rehabilitation Services for consumers with Other Related Conditions.
