Anshul Gupte

  • Senior Director, Scientific and Technical Affairs
Anshul is responsible for technical and scientific oversight of client projects. He works across various functional teams in RFP considerations and scope of work development, proposal delivery, client and prospective client meetings, and contributes to the company's thought leadership agenda. Most recently Anshul served as Senior Director, Drug Product Development for Mayne Pharma in Australia. Previously he worked with Metrics Contract Services in Greenville as Director of Pharmaceutical Development. Anshul holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the RGPV University, Bhopal, India, a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Temple University, and a Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Kentucky.

Britton Jimenez

Job Titles:
  • Vice President, Business Development
Britton has over 20 years of global pharmaceutical & biotech industry experience. Prior to joining Metrics Contract Services, he served as Global Director of Business Development at Catalent Pharma Solutions. Britton has extensive experience in leading global business development teams, strategic planning, operational planning and partnership development in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. Over his career, he also has held business development leadership roles at AAIPharma Services Corp., Penn Pharmaceuticals and Cardinal Health. Britton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Physiology from California State University-Chico.

Bruce Bratton

Job Titles:
  • Director, Project Management
Bruce leads and directs the Metrics Contract Services project management teams, providing comprehensive, end-to-end oversight for a wide range of formulation development, analytical method development, and clinical trials projects up through validation for commercial release. He has 15 years of industry experience, having worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific in oral solid dose project management and business management. Bruce holds a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering and a Master of Science in industrial management from Clemson University, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Virginia Tech.

Dwight Lewis

  • Vice President of Quality
As vice president of quality for Metrics Contract Services, Dwight is responsible for managing all quality-related functions to ensure the success of Metrics' pharmaceutical operations. Dwight brings more than 30 years of pharmaceutical industry experience to his role. Before joining Metrics, he was senior director of quality for Teva Pharmaceuticals, where he managed quality assurance and quality control functions for a large solid dose manufacturing site. Having joined Mayne Pharma in 2014, Dwight holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill.

Ed Patel

Job Titles:
  • Director, Client Services
Ed leads the team of client services relationship specialists and is in charge of creating service estimates for a wide variety of projects. He oversees R&D change orders and billing for all commercial clients. Ed has worked at Metrics Contract Services for 19 years, having been an analytical chemist and a client services manager. He has an extensive business and technical background and lead the company's enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation project. Ed holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Metrics Contract Services has a leadership team comprised of outstanding achievers and pharmaceutical industry experts. Ivelisse brings nearly a decade of technical and commercial business development experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining Metrics Contract Services, she was a technical account manager at IMCD US LLC , a distributor of specialty pharmaceutical ingredients that was formerly known as Mutchler Pharmaceutical Ingredients, Inc. Ivelisse also worked as an event coordinator for ExcipientFest, Inc., an international expo exclusively devoted to excipients. A graduate of the University of Tampa, Ivelisse holds a BA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. She earned her MBA from Universidad del Turabo, Gurabo, Puerto Rico. John S. Ross

John has more than 20 years' experience in the contract services sector of the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining Mayne Pharma, John was a Principal at Tunnell Consulting a leading US biotech and pharmaceutical consulting organization. He has also held a number of leadership roles including Chief Operating Officer of Contract Pharmaceuticals Limited, a provider of outsourced third-party contract development, manufacturing and testing of pharmaceuticals. John holds a Bachelor of Science and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario.

Kim Black-Washington

Kim is responsible for marketing Metrics' expertise in the commercial manufacturing of complex and highly potent compounds. She has over 15 years of global experience in senior leadership roles within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries. Prior to joining Metrics, Kim was director of business development, Clinical Supplies Services for Catalent Pharma Solutions. Kristi Garrett

Job Titles:
  • Director, Analytical Services
Kristi manages team group leaders and lab supervisors responsible for conducting analytical laboratory services for clients. She reviews and approves specifications, methodology validation protocols and reports, stability testing, certificates of analysis and release reports for raw and in-process materials, active pharmaceutical ingredients, and finished products; reviews and approves regulatory submissions; and trains lab personnel on preparing documents for regulatory and cGMP review. Kristi joined Metrics Contract Services in 1999. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from East Carolina University.

Lettie Kirk

  • Business Development Executive
Lettie has over 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on supporting projects from early phase to late stage development while building strong, collaborative client relationships. Between 2013-2020, she managed the West Coast as a business development executive for both Recro Gainesville and Patheon. Lettie has also served in product sales roles at Lonza, Beckman Coulter and Intrivogen over her career. Prior to her career in sales, she worked at the bench (molecular biology) in supporting scientists in sequencing, cloning, tissue culture, PCR, and even assisting in understanding the full genome of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Following college, she worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator, responsible for obtaining patient consent for tissue acquisition during surgical procedures and isolating DNA for research studies around autoimmune disease. Stephanie Emory

Stephanie has 12 years of pharmaceutical industry experience and a strong background in product development and specifically, bioavailability enhancement of small molecule formulations. She joined Metrics from the FDA where she reviewed the CMC/Drug Product portions of INDs, NDAs, and industry meeting packages for CDER's Office of Pharmaceutical Quality. Prior to FDA she spent seven years at UPM Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a then Baltimore-based CDMO, serving as both technical lead and project manager for the development of Pre-clinical through Phase III clinical supplies. She has experience with a wide range of solid oral dosage forms and manufacturing processes, including solubility-enhancing formulations, as well as scale-up, tech transfer, and process validation activities. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a doctorate in Industrial & Physical Pharmacy from Purdue University.

Thomas B. "Brad" Gold

As vice president of pharmaceutical development, Brad is responsible for overseeing all personnel, facilities and services related to formulation development, potent and cytotoxic products, fast-track development, and clinical program support through to commercialization. In addition, Brad is responsible for implementing new technology platforms that include advanced drug delivery methods. He holds a doctorate in pharmaceutics/medicinal chemistry from the University of Kentucky, from which he earned master's and bachelor's degrees in chemistry.

Tom Salus

Troy Woelfel

Troy is Vice President of Operations and General Manager of Mayne Pharma Greenville Operations. His focus is on advancing the performance of the company's significantly expanded Greenville operations following completion of its $80-million oral solid dose commercial manufacturing facility in 2018. Troy has held management positions at Teligent, Pfizer/Hospira and Novo Nordisk. He is a Six Sigma master black belt and a former Naval Flight Officer with multiple deployments worldwide. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, where he studied aerospace engineering, Troy also holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Yogesh D. Sadhale

Yogesh manages all aspects of personnel and operations related to formulating and manufacturing a client's pharmaceutical materials for Phase I, II and III clinical trials., Yogesh is responsible for scale up and validation of clinical trial materials, and manufacturing and packaging clinical trial batches under Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) guidelines. In addition, Yogesh provides planning and budgeting for pharmaceutical development operations, and hires, trains and manages pharmaceutical development staff. With 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Yogesh previously worked at Patheon Manufacturing Services, where he managed pharmaceutics and process development. He holds a doctorate in pharmaceutical sciences from the Medical University of South Carolina.
