SAFER FIELDWORK PROJECT

Laura Thurmann is a PhD researcher at the Department of Social Anthropology at the University of Manchester. Her PhD project examines gendered security practices and violence in ethnographic research. Her Master's thesis was based on a mixed-methods study of experiences of sexualized harassment and assault in fieldwork among German anthropologists.
