Immigrant Rights Action came together in March of 2017 in direct response to an ICE raid in Doylestown that detained 4 residents. Our volunteer-led, bilingual organizing built an effective community network to report ICE enforcement operations and provide immediate support to individuals at risk of deportation. Our services have since grown to encompass a wide range of consultations by telephone and in-person in our office. In 2020 we received U.S. Department of Justice recognition as the only non-profit legal immigration services provider in Bucks County...
Immigrant Rights Action came into being as a neighborhood collective in March 2017 in response to an ICE raid in Doylestown that apprehended four young restaurant workers. We are now recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice as the only non-profit legal immigration services provider in Bucks County.
