THE MINNIS HOUSE

The Minnis House is a small inn located 3.5 miles from Carson-Newman University and 35 minutes from The University of Tennessee... We are located 1/2 block off Hwy. 11E in New Market, a short 3 mile drive to restaurants and stores in nearby Jefferson City. Knoxville is just 20 minutes west while Morristown is 20 minutes east. The old-fashioned downtown of Dandridge, home to the Scotts Irish Festival, and Rutledge, home to the Tomato Festival, are also 20 minutes away. Lost Creek Golf course is less than two miles away, with many other courses being within a 20 minute drive... We are a Christian business, offering two guest rooms in our inn, and a guest cottage across the street with two bedrooms. The two upstairs queen rooms in the inn have a queen bed and a private bath, while the cottage accommodations include two bedrooms that share a full bath with a corner shower and vintage footed tub, as well as a half bath in the laundry room.
