A QUESTION

I was not raised in the church. After the death of my father, my mother seemed to have lost her religion and did not insist my sister and I go to church. She would take us to Sunday School, but that was the extent of our church upbringing. Yet, in my twenties I was interested in things related to God and would attend church to hear the sermon and would question the Pastor about the message, if I had questions. That ended when that person left the pulpit for another church... Because of my curiosity, I sought other forms of spiritual life in the New Age, that was less satisfying because the gods worship there were not real, or were not the same God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But, I didn't know. I was hungry and there was seemingly nowhere I could go to satisfy my hunger... Fast forward a few years, I was married and we had a daughter.
