Tharros Place provides support and shelter for survivors of human trafficking by providing residential services for girls between the ages of 12-17. Tharros, meaning courage in Greek, is the motivating force for survivors which allows them to envision the future that they desire for themselves. Our trauma-informed approach and plans are customized for each survivor... We respect and value diverse life experiences in our youth, staff, and community. We commit to ensuring that all voices are valued, particularly the youth we serve, and to maintaining an inclusive environment with equitable treatment for all.
