Founded in 2021, we launched NineFiveSix, named after the 956 area code for the Rio Grande Valley, to discover what people genuinely care about most. It serves as the collective voice of the RGV... Founded in 2021, we wanted to make sure that with all the changes happening in the valley, we know what people think about it and whether they agree with the direction our hometowns are taking... Over the past several years, many things from Brownsville through Harlingen and in McAllen have been changing. We want to know what you think about all these changes. By knowing what you think, we can help shape the Valley in our own image.
