AGICO introduces the LDA6 demagnetizer/magnetizing system, a combination of the previous LDA5 demagnetizer and the PAM1 anhysteretic/pulse magnetizer attachment. AF magnetization uses field up to 200 mT, anhysteretic magnetization uses field up to 1 mT and pulse magnetization can be performed with fields up to 50 mT. The instrument will be available in 10/2025... AGICO specialists not only develop and manufacture instruments but also work as research scientists who contribute substantially and even pioneer some rock magnetic research. This rare combination science, engineering and collaboration with academic and commercial scientific units, all within one company, has proved very fruitful.
