Alastair Davey

Alastair Davey is a consultant with a proven track record in developing and implementing strategies for managing safety in diverse and complex environments. He is passionate about supporting and enabling people and organisations to improve health and safety. Alastair has over 30 years of experience in leadership roles focussing on health, safety, governance, risk, audit and internal controls. He initially qualified as an electronics engineer with GEC and qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG. Most recently, he led the global health and safety function at the facility management provider Sodexo, responsible for 1,500 safety professionals and 400,000 employees worldwide. Before Sodexo, Alastair spent ten years working in the high-hazard petrochemical sector with Exxon, Mobil, and BP. As an independent consultant, Alastair writes and speaks regularly about health and safety governance, leadership, strategy and culture. At CEDEP, he is the program director for our new Safety Leadership Through Health and Safety Culture program.

Alexandre Bolay

Alexandre Bolay is an experienced leader with a career spanning three decades including 14 years dedicated to managing environmental health and safety (EHS). He is deeply committed to advancing safety and sustainability programs in diverse settings spanning multiple facilities in the manufacturing, aviation, and chemical sectors. Known for his energy, resourcefulness, and results oriented approach, Alexandre excels in integrating safety principles into core business practices. Fluent in French, Portuguese, English, and conversational German, Alexandre is adept at navigating cross-cultural environments and enhancing team performance and compliance across borders. Bertrand Gibert - COO

Bertrand Gibert is COO of the International Institute of Leadership & Safety Culture (IILSC) founded by CEDEP. In this role, he is responsible for setting, leading and developing all operations to ensure our programs consistently meet the needs of our clients and are at the forefront of future health, safety and wellbeing trends. Bertrand is passionate about helping organisations that recognise the fundamental need to put people and sustainability at the heart of their business models. He believes that a people mindset is the cornerstone to creating safety excellence in the workplace. Prior to joining IILSC, Bertrand spent 25 years in the aerospace and life science sectors, including 13 years at United Technologies Corporation (now Raytheon Technologies), a US$60bn conglomerate with 250,000 employees, where he led global and local EH&S teams across dozens of sites and delivered people-based health and safety. In 2011, he then moved to bioMérieux, a US$4bn family-driven business with 14,000 employees, where he created the company's first HSE and sustainability strategy. As vice president, HSE, security, risks and sustainability, he implemented a pluri-annual strategic planning approach periodically endorsed and reviewed by the board of directors and the executive committee. Bertrand graduated as a manufacturing and sustainability engineer from the Ecole des Mines de Saint-Etienne (France), holds the NEBOSH IGC (UK) and has obtained the business sustainability management certificate from CISL (UK).

Christina Orisich - Managing Director

Christina Orisich joined CEDEP in January 2025 as managing director. She brings extensive international experience in executive education to CEDEP, as well as expertise in consulting, change management, strategy, and organisational and leadership development. Christina was previously the deputy executive director of the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP), an international foundation based in Geneva, with the mission to promote peace, security and international cooperation through executive education, diplomatic dialogue and policy advice. She was also director of the Executive Education Department, where she was responsible for GCSP's executive education activities, making it one of the leading organisations in international security policy education. Christina's emphasis on learning innovation during the pandemic resulted in the design and delivery of state of the art courses in face to face, virtual and hybrid formats. Under her leadership, the GCSP steadily increased its partnerships, international footprint and impact across the globe. Christina was also a faculty member and taught regularly on leadership, resilience and women's leadership in various flagship courses attended by all stakeholders involved in peace and security. Prior to joining the GCSP, Christina led the Coaching and Leadership Development Practice for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) Europe. She developed important strategic partnerships with global corporations from the pharma, healthcare, chemical, automotive and financial services industry as well as with international organisations providing advice around their organisational, talent and leadership development challenges. Before this, Christina worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC Consulting) in Brussels and London leading EU financed projects in Russia, Ukraine, Estonia and Romania in the public and private sector in areas such as telecoms, and oil and gas. She also worked at the European Commission in Brussels, Ericsson in Vienna and the Austrian Trade Commission in New York City. She has an excellent understanding of the international security policy context as well as of the challenges leaders face in this complex and ever-changing world both in the private and public sector, as well as in government, international organisations, NGOs and civil society. She is also a very experienced executive coach, facilitator and speaker. Christina has a degree in International Business Administration from the University of Economics and Business Administration in Vienna, Austria. She earned her postgraduate degree in European political studies from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium. She is also certified by the International Coaching Federation, has lived and worked in 13 countries and speaks 8 languages.

Christophe (Xtof) Gillet

Christophe (Xtof) Gillet describes himself as a transformation agent, an innovation activist and a corporate anxiolytic. He has developed expertise in tough times leadership for when ‘what worked well before' becomes a liability. Colum Stewart

Colum Stewart is a safety consultant with over 30 years of of experience in senior roles for multinational and regional organisations across Asia. He has developed and implemented numerous safety culture initiatives and is an expert in the practical implementation of global programs across a wide range of unique national cultures and environments. He is also an expert in investigating and following up on serious incidents and fatalities. Colum spent his early career in quality, operations, and safety management roles. He first worked in the food industry in the UK. After a short period as a quality consultant in Asia, he specialised in the fire and security industry for several global companies. Over the last 10 years, he has worked in executive safety positions for two of the world's largest elevator companies, Otis and TKE (formerly Thyssenkrupp Elevator). His work involved supporting operations in manufacturing, construction, installation, and field service. Most recently he looked after over 19,000 employees and 12,000 subcontractors in 23 countries around the world. Colum is a graduate of Kings College London and a chartered member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH) in the UK.

Diane Chadwick-Jones

Diane Chadwick-Jones is the former director of human performance at BP with a 30-year career spanning several BP businesses and functions including exploration and production, and refining and chemicals, and worked in Belgium, Brazil and Egypt in operations and safety roles. In her positions related to safety culture and human performance, Diane was instrumental in the refresh of the BP values and delivering cultural change to enable safety improvement. This included operationalising a systems thinking approach by improving the way organisations are set up to reduce the possibility of mistakes and make work more effective. Recognised for bringing thought leadership and a fresh perspective to challenging problems with the ability to provide insight and clarity to complex issues, Diane has an outstanding industry-wide reputation for influencing leadership and implementing innovative strategies. Dr Theo Compernolle is a renowned academic, medical doctor and neuropsychiatrist specialising in the psychological aspects of leadership and enhancing resilience for executives, teams and organisations during conflict, stress and change. As a technophile, he explores the adverse effects of technology misuse on productivity, safety, creativity, health and wellbeing. Theo integrates research from diverse fields into his teachings including medicine, biology, psychology, neurology, physiology and management. Lisa Adams-Davey

Lisa Adams-Davey is a highly experienced education professional with a long career working in the performing arts higher education sector. She is a qualified psychotherapist and hypnotherapist with a focus on research, performance and therapy. Lisa began her performing arts career as an artist, theatre director, consultant, and academic over thirty years ago. She was a senior lecturer and a teaching and learning fellow, with her practice as research (consultancy) having included collaboration with the Royal Northern College of Music. She founded, and was the artistic director for, the therapeutic theatre company Confiança Collaborative, designed and developed several degree courses, and sat on numerous higher education boards. Lisa went on to train as an integrative transpersonal psychotherapist and in 2018 launched Trust Therapy. Mui Hwa NG is an independent and experienced inclusive leadership and organisational development consultant since 2000. She has years of experience in the oil and gas industry. She started in the Corporate Social Responsibility Department where she developed the global award-winning program HSE for Youth which still today reaches 4,000+ children in 50+ countries every year. After winning the first IOGP Outstanding Young Professional Award in 2016, she became the global head of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Training & Communications at Schlumberger and manager of Schlumberger SAFE, the umbrella strategy to drive the company to a step change in safety. The outstanding results achieved with this strategy were recognized by the CEO Award in 2019. Muriel combines program designing, consulting, coaching, and teaching in HSE and Leadership. Her clients are mainly in heavy industries such as oil & gas and mining. She is recognized for her ability to challenge the status quo and think outside of the box. Muriel Pailleux

Muriel Pailleux's dedication and enthusiasm for people development has extended her career within the education sector across continents. She is highly experienced at combining her marketing and business development skills with her sociological background to help people and companies grow through leadership development and cross-cultural programs. She joined CEDEP in 2017 to establish and lead the sales department. As CEDEP's main client interface, she is also in charge of developing and maintaining member partnerships. After two years, this role expanded to include establishing and directing the Marketing & Communication Department when she also became a member of the senior leadership team (CODIR and COMEX). In 2023, Muriel started a new executive role of senior director sales and marketing at CEDEP, managing three divisions, developing CEDEP's strategy and identifying levers for growth. Previously, Muriel headed customer relationships at FL&C before becoming global account director and business developer. In this position, she established a new Singapore branch and collaborated with INSEAD business school for 13 years to create, manage and develop their MBA Language Program on the Fontainebleau and Singapore campuses. Prior to that, she worked as the linguistics attachée for the French Embassy in Quito to develop partnerships with the Ecuadorian Education Ministry. Muriel has a masters in marketing management, business development and strategy from HEC Business School Paris, a masters in educational cooperation and intercultural relations from Lyon 2 University, and a masters in anthropology from Bordeaux University.

Philippe Delquié

Rob Browton is a UK-based occupational psychologist specialising in measuring culture and facilitating culture change within organisations. Rob has dedicated his career to understanding and improving workplace culture and the employee experience. Sébastien Roche is a mechanical engineer with more than 20 years of experience in oil and gas operations and automotive manufacturing. He worked at Schlumberger for 15 years and was business development and product manager responsible for the digital transformation of the Reservoir Performance Group. He is currently co-founder, CEO and CTO of jll Spear which provides engineering and innovation solutions for industry. He is also president of optim.aize which specialises in AI & ML applications for the modern management of production sites and tools, and is also director of ASE-SEREM (Aquitaine Service Electrique) specialising in the maintenance of commercial and industrial machinery. His key areas of expertise are international product management, technology strategy and monetisation, digital transformation, operations management, sales strategy and management, and business development. He is a 6 Sigma Black Belt and Green Belt Trainer.
