The FOSSi Foundation is registered in the UK as a not-for-profit, asset-locked community interest company (C.I.C.). This robust setup ensures that the foundation is formed of and controlled by the community. The FOSSi Foundation does not have shareholders but is limited by guarantee of the founding members. All members of FOSSi Foundation elect and control the board of directors... We have once again been selected as a mentor organisation for Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2025. Google Summer of Code is an excellent program for new open-source contributors to receive a stipend (generously provided by Google) to contribute to open source projects in the FOSSi community. As an organisation, we encompass a variety of community projects in the space of open source silicon design, EDA tools, and the surrounding ecosystem.
