Our story begins in Halland, Sweden, back in 1971 when Roland Hammargren began to work on his dream of furnishing Swedish homes. That was the first step in a journey towards the modern furniture company Rowico Home is today. Our furniture is designed in Halmstad, drawing inspiration from Scandinavian nature, and produced in selected factories around the world. Our furniture is sold through retailers across Sweden and the rest of Europe, as well as through our webshop... Rowico Home was founded in 1971 by Roland Hammargren. Shortly thereafter, his son, Mikael Hammargren, also became active in the company, and in 1988 we moved to the current warehouse and office building in Halmstad. From focusing on Italian-style furniture, Rowico took the step to production in more countries, which also led to the formation of a more modern Scandinavian furniture range.
