CamSTAR is part of the Cambridge Learning and Teaching (CLT) organisation, an independent company led by Cambridge academics. There is a link to Cambridge University through the Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) and specifically a Diploma course that Cambridge Learning and Teaching are developing with ICE. Cambridge Learning and Teaching is developing the CamSTAR project as a stand-alone in ways beyond what is possible within the confines of the University... CamStar is a network of schools who work together to support school-based teacher research. The network is national, across the whole of the UK, and has recently expanded to include international schools. The philosophy that underpins CamStar is straightforward - teacher knowledge is at the heart of effective teaching... CamSTAR introduces you to a like-minded group of colleagues whose professional interests will help shape and enhance your own research, and thereby your own teaching and your students' learning.
