Barry's insurance career spans more than four decades working in the field of personal financial well-being and responsibility. With broad expertise in life, disability and long-term care insurance he works with individuals, business owners and allied professionals helping them provide protection for themselves and those they care about. Barry has been dedicated to the Central Coast since 1998 and created Blaze ‘n Bear Insurance Services, Inc. to assist local business owners and families with important personal financial choices. Barry began his career with Metropolitan Life. He founded Barry J. Fisher Insurance Marketing, Inc. in 1995 and is a nationally recognized leader and pioneer in the long-term care insurance industry. He has served as Past-President of the Los Angeles and California Associations of Health Underwriters and in 2002 the California State Legislature recognized him for leadership in legislative advocacy in the fields of health and long-term care insurance. In 1999 he co-founded the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance and in 2003 Barry received the National Association of Health Underwriter's Legislative Achievement Award. Additionally, Barry has served on the California Department of Insurance Agents and Brokers Advisory Committee and Curriculum Board. He is a frequent public speaker and contributor to industry publications on matters pertaining to life, disability long-term care insurance planning and legislative matters. Barry and Blaze ‘n Bear Insurance Services, Inc. support many local non-profits including COLAB, Cattlemen's Association, Farm Bureau, Alzheimer's Association, CAPSLO Adult Day Care Center and the California Midstate Fair Heritage Foundation. Additional support is provided to Pacific Legal Foundation, Young Americas Foundation and the National Association of Financial Advisors. Barry lives in Templeton, California. His son and daughter-in-law are both active-duty Lieutenant Colonels in the United States Army. He has two grandsons who surf, ski, play golf and soccer.

Susan M. Blais led a successful career in the health insurance industry for 26 years. She began in business-to-business sales and retired as senior executive of a billion-dollar division of PacifiCare Health Systems, a Fortune 100 company. In 2006, she joined her husband in their insurance agency Barry J. Fisher Insurance Marketing, Inc. They wholesaled top-rated long- term care insurance and related products through independent insurance agents and financial advisors. Susan now lives and works in North Carolina.
