By adhering to the principle that talent is the primary resource, BUA is committed to building a high-level faculty that is virtuous, well-structured, professional and competent. Of the full-time teachers, 64% have senior professional titles and 95% have master or PhD degrees. At present, BUA boasts three distinguished professors, including academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), nine leading figures of the same rank as the recipients of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and three young top-notch talents of the same rank as National Overseas High-level Talents. More than 200 approvals have been granted for various talent programmes, including government allowance from the State Council, the Ministry of Education's Programme for New Century Excellent Talents in Universities, Beijing's Leading Science and Technology Talent Project, and Beijing Municipal Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Talents Project.....
