Our research group focuses on semiconductor quantum optics and condensed matter physics, with a particular emphasis on mesoscopic systems such as two-dimensional materials, single-mode optical microcavities, and nanoscale electronic devices. Currently, we are actively investigating anisotropic excitons and their related optical properties in ReS2, which we find promising for the development of quantum non-Hermitian systems featuring non-trivial topology in exciton-polariton bands... Additionally, we are committed to advancing experimental techniques in optical spectroscopy. Recently, we have leveraged optical vortex beams to probe exciton dynamics in WSe2, opening new avenues for exploring and understanding these complex systems... The Quantum Optoelectronics Lab is located in the Department of Physics at IIT Kharagpur, where we focus on exploring the physics of light-matter interactions in two-dimensional (2D) materials.
