Attorney Dawn Owens Ross is a registered patent attorney who helps small businesses and entrepreneurs secure and protect their intellectual property rights in the electrical and mechanical arts, as well as protect their brands and copyrights. Dawn likes to gain a deep understanding of her client's inventions and overall brand, allowing her to develop and execute a comprehensive intellectual property protection strategy. As a part of this comprehensive intellectual property protection strategy, Dawn regularly advises novelty/patentability, ideation and patent portfolio management, technological white-space assessments, patent and trademark prosecution, and copyright protection.

Attorney Jonathan Ross is a native of Riverdale, GA, and attended Georgia Southern University, where he received his B.A. in Political Science. He attended law school in Jacksonville, FL, and was sworn into the FL Bar in 2011. Jonathan began his legal career at Jacksonville Area Legal Aid in the Predatory Lending Unit. In August 2012, he founded The Ross Firm P.A. helping clients navigate Family Law, Estate, Criminal, Personal Injury, and General Civil Litigation issues. In 2019, he was admitted to the GA Bar and relocated back home to Atlanta, GA, with his wife Attorney Dawn Owen Ross, and his bonus son. ​In August 2020, Ross & Owens Ross Law was founded by the dynamic duo of Jonathan Ross & Dawn Owens Ross. Jonathan has over a decade of legal experience and prides himself on being a zealous advocate for his clients. He has had dozens of trials and has handled a multitude of cases. Outside of the office, Jonathan enjoys weight training, servicing his community specifically mentoring young black males, and a huge fan of football, Go Falcons & Dawgs. Jonathan is also a gun enthusiast who enjoys teaching gun safety training and guiding first-time purchasers to the right selection based on their needs.
